El Tigre’s Taste Buds
This is seriously the best French Cafe in Tampa. The sandwich melted in my mouth. I was feeling like I was in Paris when I was eating my meal. Their French Roast is very good. Perfect Flavor. Great service from the staff. They were very attentative. This is the Best Coffee shop in Downtown Tampa. I will definitely be back again.

This cafe was amazing. The atmosphere is very lovely, I would definitely go here to do work in the morning. The owner is very bubbly, the moment we walked in he had a smile on his face. The pastries were also very good, especially the croissant which transported me straight back to Europe with its flaky and butteryness. So good. I talked with the owner for awhile, reminiscing about Paris and just getting to know him. It was a very nice experience, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

I travel to France monthly and have a good level of French so I always search for French cafes wherever I travel. I was so elated to find this cafe where not only was the food absolutely delicious and authentic but several of the staff are Francophone and I was able to speak the language. If I lived in Tampa, I’d be there every week.
I enjoyed a cappuccino with pain au chocolat straight from the oven (so rare!) and a quiche lorraine. Ça a été très délicieux! I really look forward to returning anytime that I’m back in Tampa.

A wonderful French café with delicious quiche, great food, and truly friendly service! We accidentally ordered a quiche that contained bacon, thinking it was the vegetarian one. When we mentioned the mistake, they were so hospitable and kindly offered us a substitute with a smile. Everything we tried was tasty, and the warm atmosphere made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for an authentic French café with amazing food and exceptional service, don’t miss this place!

Very relaxed and comfortable speakeasy French cafe in the heart of downtown Tampa! I asked a waiter for his food recommendation and got the Croque Monsieur (like a ham and cheese toasted sandwich) which was fantastic! The guys in back were all very helpful and had pleasant welcoming attitudes. The meal dishes come with the side salad. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a light afternoon meal!

Just visited the newly opened Cote France French Cafe in downtown Tampa, and I’m absolutely delighted with my experience! The bakery is simply outstanding—every pastry I tried was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. Their cappuccino deserves a special mention: rich, smooth, and easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re craving a taste of France right here in Tampa!

Tasty food , charming place, very well decorated . I had eggs Benedict, croissants, eclair and they were delicious ! very well made, long time didn’t have such a tasty pastry and bread . Need to improve the service especially with waiters (we choose and pay them they serve at the table) they didn’t have fresh fruit juice (would be a plus to have more options with fresh fruits juice)

Exceptional! I had the daily special quiche with side salad, lemon tart, and a double espresso. All were perfect, and I’ve had plenty in France and Italy prior. Perfect service, very pleasing inside.

It’s such a treat to finally have an authentic French café in town. Their croissants are beautifully flaky and balanced, also nothing is overly sweet or heavy. The chocolate croissants, in particular, are heavenly. On top of that, the owners are genuinely warm and welcoming, which makes every visit even more enjoyable.

Love this French cafe! We tried the bacon & brie croissant with a sunny side egg on top, and it was delicious. We also loved the creme brûlée, pastries, and the delicious cappuccino (pictured). The woman at the counter had an adorable French accent too. Nice place for a relaxing brunch after a stroll on the nearby Riverwalk.
