We did not have food, but the Edgar Allen Poe Experience was AMAZING! Great ambience & acting. Definitely a deliciously DIFFERENT experience from normal routine! Also We strongly recommend the Speakeasy for a unique environment venue as well.

What a great venue for a wonderful evening with the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy. And they host more interesting events, too. Let’s do it again.

My Wife and I had a great Charcuterie board, At 8pm they announce the band turned down the lights and we enjoyed a Great show from our Candlelit Table, the very best part was, no body was loud, no pool tables, no games ringing in the back ground, I true Speakeasy, and the decor to match we loved it, will return

The atmosphere and service was great. It really captures that Prohibition 20s vibe. My only complaint was the prices were more than I expected. It was a show night so the entry fee is understandable, but my Angry Orchard and White Russian drink (very good BTW) came out at over $28 dollars.

Came for the Egar Allen Poe show. The actors double as waiters, not a problem Very Friendly. . They acted ok, Yeah, the problem is the stage. You can not see the stage from all areas. The actors don’t work the front of the stage very well so if you get there after the best tables fill…you are screwed. They need a better set-up for this show. They tried.

Banana Club was good… then Jenn came along. She truly adds the fun to the club. She always keeps us laughing & has a great personality. She and Niki are so sweet & attentive. They always keep our drinks coming, too!

Minimal Menu, Maximum Flavor
This place might keep things simple, but the food is absolutely top-notch. One of the best charcuterie boards I’ve seen anywhere — thoughtfully put together and packed with flavor. The boudin rolls were a real surprise and an absolute treat. And yes, believe it or not, the grilled cheese is a must-try. Sounds simple, but trust me — you’ll be glad you did.

The atmosphere is unmatched — it’s the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Add in great entertainment, solid drink options, and fair prices, and you’ve got a winning combo.

Now, a heads-up: the liquor taxes in Texarkana, Arkansas are no joke. It’s frustrating, but that’s on the city, not the establishment. If we want businesses like this to stick around and help revive the area, we’ve got to support them — even if we grumble about the tax at checkout.

All in all, a hidden gem well worth visiting. And don’t forget, the bartenders and servers are remarkable, so take care of them.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience twice. I can’t speak for the main courses, because I we went straight to the desert. The entertainment, service, and atmosphere were great. I can’t give you a style, because it’s eclectic like the crowd. Go, especially when Split Decision is playing, you won’t regret it and you can people watch a nice crowd.

Just make sure you have the code, it’s a speakeasy. And, be cool. You’ll be amazed at the happiness you get to see. We were there on a birthday night and a 40th anniversary. Great time. Thank you!
