I’m a bit ashamed to call this Peruvian as a Peruvian man. Growing up in Dallas I’ve been raised around large platters of food, great portions and flavor explosions…. Pero tonight I’m ashamed by this experience. My family invited me out to Inkas, we know the owners and their previous restaurants and we always come and support but for the first I’m shocked by what we were given.
Pollo à la brasa – we had to order another plate of fries because the portion was for two people but we were a party of 4, then the flavor was 2/10.
After we ordered Yucca and let me say
Why did we get the end of the bag, we asked why is it so small, she said that’s the portions size. I’m sorry but Si fueras peruano y te presentaran este plato, ¿cómo te sentirías?
El lomo was good and the chupe de pescado flavor was probably the best here

I had a great experience at Inkas peruvian Restaurant. The rotisserie chicken was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor—clearly well-marinated and perfectly cooked. The leche de tigre was outstanding, fresh and vibrant, and I really appreciated that you can order it without any spice.
I visited in the afternoon, when the atmosphere was relaxed and ideal for a laid-back meal, but it looks like the vibe completely transforms at night with live music, making it a great spot for both dining and entertainment. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

This was a great Peruvian restaurant to visit. Not a lot of actual good Peruvian food in DFW (definitely not in Austin where I’m from), but decided to stop by and was pleasantly surprised. Good flavors all around especially with the ceviche, and very good portions for the price. The lomo saltado was decent (beef was a little dry and the crinkle cut fries are an interesting choice but still good), but the tallarines verdes were out of this world. Reminded me of when I was a kid. Service was done well and the server was very transparent that everything was made to order so we didn’t mind waiting a little longer for one of the entrees we ordered. The restaurant itself was nice, no frills but has everything you need if you’re looking for an authentic Peruvian home style cooking experience. The little market they have with some cooking staples like the dried corn, baking mixes and sodas was nice to see as well. I definitely will be returning!

Atmosphere is clean, but the lights were constantly flickering which was super annoying.
Food was NOT GOOD! I grew up eating Peruvian food, and I was appalled by the fact they didn’t even have AJI DE GALLINA! Like, what?! So I ordered something that I didn’t think they could mess up on… lomo saltado and papa y lahuancaina. Yea, that was bad. The lomo saltado was almost inedible because of the gravy-like sauce they used and it was soooo salty! The papas à la huancaina had no flavor either. I ended up boxing up my food to go so I could go home and fix it myself.
I’m sorry, but if you want GOOD Peruvian food, this is NOT the place to go. They need to learn from Macchu Picchu in Garland, TX!

I’ve been a regular customer at this restaurant and always enjoyed coming here, but during my last visit I noticed a clear decline in both service and quality.
First, they raised the price of my favorite dish (Trío Marino), which would be completely understandable if the quality stayed the same or improved — but unfortunately, that’s not the case. The portion is now smaller, and the servers seem to be cutting corners on every detail. For example, the Trío Marino comes with rice and seafood, ceviche, and fried seafood, but this time we didn’t even get the traditional tartar sauce. The ceviche tasted more like watered-down leche de tigre, although I’ll admit the rice with seafood was still decent.
I also ordered my usual mango michelada, but they brought me a Mexican-style one with tomato juice. When I told the waitress that wasn’t what I ordered, she said, “That’s how micheladas are,” which was frustrating because I’ve always ordered the same drink here without any issue. She agreed to change it, but the new one still wasn’t right — it didn’t have Tajín or the usual decorated rim they always serve it with.
Lastly, I asked for my ceviche without spice and requested the chili sauce on the side so I could add it myself. However, when they brought the plate, neither the chili nor the tartar sauce came with it. I had to ask again, and even then, the chili never arrived.
I really hope they can improve, because this used to be one of my favorite places for both the food and the atmosphere — but lately, the experience has gone downhill.

An amazing place that has just been open a month. Prices are very good! The chips were just the right crunchy. Had a couple of mango margaritas. Then the bacon wrapped jalepani shrimp appetizer and then finished up with the cheese/onion enchiladas. All tasted good. The waitress Yolanda, was amazing!! Great service and so nice. Was always checking up on me. Great place to try out!! Ask for Yolanda as well!! If I am back in the area, I will for sure be back!!

The food is good. The service needs improvement and the atmosphere awful. Wow. They put the music so loud that the waitress couldn’t hear me. Also with the music so loud you can’t have a nice meal. It wasn’t many customers and for a Lomo saltado it took 35 minutes to delivered. They even almost forgot to billed me. I had to go to the front and ask for the receipt… the food is nice but the atmosphere awful with super loud music. I’ll rather drive to the peruvian restaurants in Carrollton than to the super loud inka in Lewisville

I had high hopes for the Peruvian food at this restaurant, especially given the reputation in Dallas, but it was disappointing. The pollo à la braza chicken was dry, and the Chinese rice was burnt, lacking any real flavor. The only thing good was the Inka Kola. Additionally, the ceviche servings were very small portion, which added to my disappointment.

First time in the restaurant, saltado de mariscos was salty, the meat of lomo saltado was hard, French fries were the frozen kind you get at the grocery store, waitress need more training… sorry! But my experience wasn’t good, so I wouldn’t go back
