Savta is more than just a restaurant—it’s a heartfelt homage to my beloved grandmother, the woman who taught me everything I know about food and cooking. Naming the restaurant Savta is my way of celebrating her legacy, her wisdom, and the countless hours we spent together in the kitchen. Every dish we serve is a reflection of her teachings, filled with the love, tradition, and culinary skills she passed down to me. At Savta, we invite you to experience the warmth and flavor that shaped my passion for cooking, and that continues to inspire our menu today. Thank you for joining us in celebrating her legacy.

Located right next to Dupar’s Savta made a lovely brunch space at the busy Farmers Markt. As they validated parking for 90 minutes, you might also go for brief farmers market run right after your meal.

Reservation wasn’t required but recommended on weekends to avoid the wait. Their brunch menu was pretty interesting as each section (pizza, toast, sandwich) seemed to carry similar toppings.

We started with their Truffle Omelette just because the description on the menu made it so appealing. It’s indeed seemed simple yet lemme tell you the flavor was so rich as they chopped the truffle and mushroom into very small pieces that’s well blended with the egg. The time that dish was laid on the table, the scent made you unable to hold having a bite.

The next was actually what brought us here, the ragu pizza, serving slow-cooked ribs with fior di latte on wood-fired pizza. The crust was uniquely fluffy and pillowy and we asked for extra butter for dipping and that French butter certainly elevated it. The ribs were tender and luscious, though my friends and I agreed that we didn’t think it suited as pizza topping best.

To our surprise, the creme de la creme of our brunch was the Parma Burrata Toast. The picture could easily tell you how generously served the burrata was. Paired it with the prosciutto and pesto sauce, OMG such a flawless mix of cheesy, savory, creamy with twist of crunch. Rich combo that we all really enjoyed.

Service and food is amazing. My 5th time back in 2 months! Pepperoni pizza, phyllo, cheesy bread, artichoke, focaccia with burrata and olive paste, were ALL amazing. Tried and pizza – honey, feta on it was delicious!!! Nice place, inside and outside seating available. Pizza is wood fired and lasts amazing!!! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants to keeping going back. Must try the brioche dessert!!! Thank you to the staff (Joshua ) for being so nice and making excellent recs! I shall be back soon!!

Pizza was so good, the chicken was good the salad was good Mediterranean inspired. They make their own ginger beer in house. The service is quick but not rushed. Options to sit outside or inside. The food is made fresh and did not take too long. We were so hungry but the salad was good to hold us over. Would definitely come back. Kitchen is working hard.

We came in around 7:15pm with our 2-year-old and from the moment we sat down, everyone was so attentive and kind. Josue was incredible. He made us feel so comfortable, which is not always easy when dining out with a toddler!

My husband ordered the wagyu burger and he said it easily makes his top 5 burgers of all time. I had the ragú pizza and wish I’d taken a better picture because it was absolutely fantastic, so juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

It was such a great experience all around, and Josue’s service made it even better. We love it here and will definitely start telling our friends to come too. Thank you, Savta, for hiring amazing employees who truly make dining out feel effortless and enjoyable.

Made a reservation for my party of 8. The table was ready when we arrived. Had to call to make the reservation. Open Table was unable to make the reservation at the time I requested.

My wife and I split the double patty smash burger. They said they were unable to make it medium rare because the hamburger patties were smashed too thin. That was a disappointment. I also had eggplant. That was very good. The fries that came with the burger tasted very good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals.

The venue is an outdoor patio. It’s reasonably quiet as long as a police car or other emergency vehicle isn’t blasting sirens on nearby 3rd Street or Fairfax Ave.

Service was friendly and efficient.

I recently visited this new spot in the Grove and decided to try their beef pizza sandwich, which the server helpfully explained is literally pizza folded into a sandwich—not a calzone. I appreciated the clarity, and the concept sounded fun and different. That said, it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I guess because it’s small, and slightly too burnt.

Still, the service was friendly, and the vibe of the place was nice, so I’d be open to going back and trying something else on the menu.

During my visit to Savta at the Farmers Market, I had the pleasure of trying their pizza and burger. The moment I took my first bite, it was clear that Savta truly lives up to its commitment to using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. The flavors were vibrant and each bite was a testament to their passion for food. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service impeccable. Dining at Savta was a delightful experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend tasting the difference for yourself!

FRANCISCO!!! I will talk about the amazing food and the intimate connective space but before I do that…Francisco. I love all kinds of dining experiences from all around the world and the thing that pushes the experience more than anything is the connections we make. Francisco was one of the best servers I’ve had in this lifetime. Big knowledge on the menu, Joyful energy, and a level of hospitality that makes you feel like your family in his own home.

The food was fantastic and very enjoyable. Price point is par for everything they offer. Francisco made some amazing suggestions and even picked out some beautiful wine bottles.

All in all a great time. Thanks again for making us feel so at home, Francisco!
