First impressions are generally crucial, I asked for a recommendation and ultimately chose the stork café breakfast.
There was a fine amalgamation, of savory, sour pickled sweetness. Sausage was bold and salty , in good proportions.
The eggs were fluffy like a pillow after a long day at work, even though I was reluctant, I did enjoy the onions and tomatoes.
And the bread was full of hearth.
The latte had a great froth, not too sweet.
This place was amazing!
I’m so glad Homer Glen has a place like Stork Cafe! The atmosphere is fresh and inviting, and the food is on another level. I tried the Stork-wich and it was outstanding—perfectly toasted sourdough piled with Philadelphia cheese, smoked salmon, avocado, and roasted tomatoes. Every bite felt like it was made with real care.
I also had the meat pierogi, and wow—these were the best I’ve had outside of Poland. Soft dough, flavorful filling, and topped just right. You can tell everything is made from scratch and with quality ingredients.
If you’re in the area, this spot is a must. Homer Glen needed something like this, and Stork Cafe delivers big time. Can’t wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu!
Zapiekanka not even close to the good polish zapiekanka cheese was to heavy smelly and very chewy it was very hard to swallow.
Pierogi not bad but the onion on the top of them was cut to big and had so not comfortable to eat
Highly recommended.

We got the Red Wine Beef Stew, and Bacon-Schnitzel. Absolutely incredible, you cant go wrong with either. The deserts were also spectacular. The Kogel Mogel, had never heard of a such a dish before that, but it was amazing, and I highly reccomend it. Homemade ice cream was incredible, too. We can’t wait to go back!!!
