Food was horrible everything tasted funny. I got a half a lbs of fat with my brisket just sitting on the side inedible, no bbq sauce no seasoning $3 for bread that was hard and smashed. In total I wasted $30 to buy food to just throw away cause no one else would even touch it when I tried to give it away even smells funny, also they microwave eveything

As a special anniversary meal, we decided to try Townes BBQ for the first time. From the delicious first bite to the last, it was fantastic! Wonderful flavor to the jerk chicken …very moist and tender. Plus, the owner was so warm and friendly when we ordered. She even included a couple of unexpected surprises. We will definitely make this our bbq “go to place”. We can’t wait to share it with family and friends when they visit.

The best, most moist chicken bbq I’ve ever had. Slightly sweet sauce that you’ll want to lick off your fingers and chin. Delicious cornbread helped sop up what was still in the foil. I don’t want to leave out the banana pudding…Holy cow, practically a religious experience. Homemade like my grandma used to make. The owners are wonderfully friendly. Family atmosphere. Will defiantly be going again. Highly recommend.

This place is an amazing find! My husband and I stopped in to check it out for our anniversary. This place did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, the staff we had contact with was very friendly, and it smells WONDERFUL! I highly recommend the pork ribs and the coco bread! Today was my first time going to this restaurant. There aren’t many restaurant choices in this area so I was eager to try it. It has a small town diner feel to it, and the owner who my husband knows and has worked for before, is extremely friendly and outgoing and enthusiastic about his food. He made my kids feel right at home. I ordered two pork barbecue sandwiches and mac and cheese. Food was fresh and delicious, service was very friendly and helpful, the cashier made some suggestions about what my picky boys could eat. I highly recommend it and think it’s a great asset to our beautiful little town.

Hands down some of the BEST BBQ we have had. My husband is from TX and I’m from NC, so to say we are BBQ snobs is an understatement! Donna is a BBQ whisperer!
