Bagels were well done and the amount of cream cheese on the bagel was very skimpy.
No one was in the store at 10am and it took 10 minutes for someone to help while the person at the register was on their phone.

Ordered the breakfast plate with French toast and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We had it delivered and it arrived hot and well-packaged. Highly recommend Glen Cove Gourmet Deli & Bagel for a great breakfast!

I don’t know if I was THAT hungry, but the food was great. I got a fresh bagel with the right amount of crunch, but soft and warm inside. The homefries were seasoned just right, the eggs not salty and sausage was flavorful. And the coffee…OMG!

I came for a walk at Harbor Landing which I love to do every weekend. The community is really nice and plenty of views to enjoy! I came across this beautiful Bagel store. They have fresh Salads, yogurts, açaí and ofc beautiful bagels. The workers were super friendly, it made me feel at home. I got the Tuscany Panini which was delicious! My friend got the Vegetarian wrapped which he loved. I would definitely come back again!

Terrible new ownership. They skimp on everything from cream cheese on bagels to salad toppings. Recently I was waiting at the counter to order, and the man working said I had to wait for the other guy to order. That guy was currently making someone else’s sandwiches. Was this guy incapable of taking an order? He just stood there and stared at me. BYE.

Terrible customer service. Food was delayed over an hour the guys blamed grub hub and said that’s why we don’t recommend grub hub. Then i asked them to remake it he said no I said but you work with grub hub. He said not really. How not really? They forced you to be on the app? and then refused to remake the food. Like we were supposed to know grub hub was an issue even though it’s never an issue with any other store. Regardless it would have been good customer service to remake a $5 bagel that’s been sitting there for an hour. The ice cold bagel sucked anyway. No wonder it’s 3.5 stars. On top of that it was the wrong bagel.

Very surprised to read some of these negative comments. We’ve been coming to Brendel’s since they opened at Garvies. We LOVE it! The staff is always friendly with us, in fact they’ve come to our table and brought our 3 children cookies on several occasions! Their food is excellent. Yes prices can be considered high, but anywhere else you go it’s the same. Food establishments are dealing with inflation just like all of us. We will continue coming here and supporting Brendel’s!
