McAlister’s never disappoints. I’ve been hitting up the one on University for a while, and finally checked out the newer spot. The place was nice and clean, which is always a win. Spoiler alert: it’s just as good as the original.
We rolled in on Free Tea Day and did not hold back. My family went full tea mode with enough refills to keep us buzzing for a week. The girl at the register was a saint, patiently handling a line of thirsty people and our tea frenzy like a pro.
For food, I ordered the 12 inch Spicy Turkey Melt with broccoli. Let me tell you, it was ridiculously good. The bread toasted like a dream, the veggies fresh and crunchy, and the melted cheese? Absolute perfection. My wife got a sandwich and a loaded baked potato, and she didn’t say a word while eating. That silence means one thing: she loved it.
The kids went for pizza and pretzel dog bites, and we splurged on the mac and cheese. Big mistake. That mac and cheese was more like a cheesy soup, with cheese so runny it could’ve been a new dipping sauce. The boys weren’t fans, but the pizza and pretzel dogs vanished quickly.
All in all, we will definitely be back. Especially when the next Free Tea Day rolls around!

We came to McAlister’s for dinner and ordered a few different sandwiches and soups. Everything came out warm and tasted great. You can tell the food is made with care.
The atmosphere is really nice and relaxed. The music is at the perfect volume, and the whole place is spotless. It’s genuinely one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been to.
The portions are generous and the prices are fair, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The location is convenient and the service has always been exceptional. Every time I’ve come here, it’s been a great experience. Highly recommend.

I work right across the street, so I’m here for lunch all the time, and honestly the staff at this McAlister’s deserve a shout-out. They’re always so sweet, so quick, and just genuinely good people. Even when it’s busy, they’re patient and kind, and I’ve literally never had a bad experience here.

We wanted to try the new McAlister’s! We both ordered potatoes (our go-to order here). Overall the potatoes were not bad, but not great. The skins were a little too dark & chewy. The inside was nice & soft. The tea is good, and the decor is clean. One downside is only having 2 single-occupancy restrooms (I had to wait for a while, and right after I entered, someone knocked on the door). On total, this wasn’t terrible, but not my favorite either.

My husband and I were traveling and stopped at the McAllister’s Deli in College Station off 6. We got our order to go.
My husband ordered The New Yorker and wow! It was piled full of meat – he said his sandwich was fantastic – definitely for the meat lover.
I ordered the get 2 (still haven’t eaten part of my meal – the Black Angus club). I ate the other part which was the spud max. Overall it was good but wish I had a little salt for the potato (which was not in the bag). Really I’d give the food a 4.5 the quality was good and it was tasty.

Wow! What a great Grand Opening. They offered teachers a free meal and it was absolutely delicious! I got one of their salads with a half club sandwich, and if course their tea. The portions were filling without making you feel blah afterwards. I will definitely be back. Thank you, thank you, thank you, McAlisters for the sweet treat of a free dinner.

Mc Calister’s Deli is the place to go if you want good food that comes fast. While the prices are decently high, the portions are very good. I would recommend getting the pick two with the King Club and a cup of soup or something bc the king club, even half of it is enormous. The restaurant is very clean, though the floors mysteriously always stay sticky. Also, I saw the review about someone frustrated because the drive thru was pick up only. Like “My guy. It literally says window side PICK UP on the sign outside in big letters lol”

I work around the corner and we’ve ordered from there a few times. The last time they didn’t put any pickles in the bags. No biggie. Mistakes happen. This time they forgot an entire order of the 7 I picked up (mine) and they said “do you want us to remake it”? No I don’t want you to remake it. We get as limited time for lunch and going back to get my order would have taken that time. They seriously need to get their act together.
