The place is clean and prices for fresh seafood is fair. The staff are friendly and inviting. However, I tried their 2pc fried whiting, 2pc crab stick, and 5 pc shrimp with seasoned french fries (order #19) today and I was NOT impressed with the flavor and batter used to cook it in. The batter was very breaded and unseasoned for the seafood. I was not a fan of it. It taste very bland. They should offer a selection of batter options to cook it in such as plain flour, tempura, fish fry, cajun, etc. At least they could have added a dash of salt and pepper to the seafood prior to frying it. I would go back to purchase fresh seafood to cook myself but not to buy it prepared .

Tried this place and not bad seasoning was on point and portions where pretty good the place is clean and service is good. Out of the 3 places on the island that makes fish fry this is the best hands down fish is nice flavorful moist

So today I ordered some mussels and yellow rice with salmon … I couldn’t even order any vegetables with my food some of the vegetables had mold on it and I just went to the store soon as they open smh the rice is hard like it’s from yesterday this is not the first time I had a problem but it will be the last.The last time my food smelled bad and The guy had the nerves to tell me I cannot have no refund Beyond the Sea need to get it together!!!

My coworker recommended this restaurant and it is absolutely amazing! The customer service was beyond delightful and the food… GREAT!! The food has so much flavors and different seasonings to satisfy everyone taste. Also the price is so affordable,I will be back!

Fresh fish you pick out yourself and they can steam it for you with veggies of your choice. We had salmon. red snapper and shrimp with broccoli and corn with old bay and garlic. No added salt. So delicious and healthy. Couldn’t ask for better customer service from the lovely young man who helped us. Reasonably priced as a bonus. So much better than Hook and Reel. We will return for the crabs!

Good customer service. Needs some kinks to work out. Wanted 5 fried crab legs gave me 5 orders of crab legs. Wanted steamed veggies and steamed spicy mussels. They made and gave them to another customer. They realized that the veggies wasnt there and give me free sodas. I didnt get the mussels. Check food before leaving store. Counter serviceman seems real personable and willing to please. Food fried to perfection. Needs more clientele to expand their seafood selection.

Excellent source for fresh & tasty seafood on the North Shore. The shop is fresh & clean, everything is spotless- not even a faint “fishy” smell. Good variety of seafood. Selected fish can be prepared on-site (fried, steamed or saute) for takeout.

Delivery was on time food was still hot !! i ordered whitings,crab sticks, seasoned fries and yellow rice. All was delicious ..the rice is absolutely to die for. Omg I will definitely be going back. .and will be telling others..my dinner was tasty ..thanks so much !!
