Amazing Ribs in the BBQ. The best in Pittsburgh definitely. I was on a baseball match and had the chance to fill my stomach before the start so I could drink some beer. I hope I return someday and repeat the same “menu” as last time. Great treatment from the staff and cook!

Ribfest-Acrisure Stadium. Brisket was like jerky with a ton of fat. The brisket sandwich was served on a mini schwebel’s bun. That’s a tiny bun for a $14 sandwich. Lots of fat on the ribs. All of the meat we purchased was cold. Bland coleslaw. Finally, I’m pretty sure the cornbread was from the jiffy box. Ugh. Skip Bad Azz Barbecue.

Stacy (spelling?) catered a dinner for an event our workplace held. We had brisket, ribs, pulled pork, mac & cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, and sausage. Oh my goodness, everything was FABULOUS. The barbecue sauce is the perfect level of spice, the pork pretty much dissolved in my mouth, and the ribs were so tender. I made a total pig of myself, as did everyone else. We’re all crushing leftovers today, too. We are definitely going to use her again.

Context: im originally from Kansas City, lived in the south for several years, and have traveled all over Texas. So I’m a bit of a BBQ snob. But, all that tasting has given me the ability to spot fakes. I had the brisket sandwich, which was tough, dry, and way too small for $14. It had a drizzle of what tasted like a thinned out version of Sweet Baby Ray’s. The bun was dry. Reminded me of the buns you get in the field in the Army.
The Mac and cheese was flavorless, although you get a large serving.
The lid on the smoker was open the whole time I was there and it was behind an abnormally tall bar at which you order. I’m thinking they just light some sticks on fire in there for the smell, and bring in pre-made food from somewhere else.
Also, I had a vicious stomach ache the rest of the day. 10/10 will not be back

The BBQ chicken is amazing. My daughter and I love it. Today, I got a whole chicken and half chicken. The girl must have seen my handicapped tag hanging in the window. She asked if I wanted her to bring the order down for me. She cut the whole chicken in half for me and brought the order to my car. God bless her! Great food and great workers!

Excellent food and very kind service. I needed to cater a small family party. I reached out via the form on their website, but didn’t hear back, so I called on the phone. Catering manager is so nice and easy to talk to. I got macaroni and cheese, slaw, potato salad, cornbread, pulled pork, and brisket. Everything tasted great. Portions were almost too generous! Thanks so much.

The coupon is unreal, it would get 5 stars for that deal alone. It’s also really good.
The only reason I would give it less than 5 is their hours. But you can’t judge an establishment based on that.
I ordered a pickup for 630 before they closed and they were ready to hand it to me at 629. The staff was really sweet, and most importantly take pride in their work, care about quality, and their customers experience. The young lady who prepared the food and cashier knew it was my first time there, and told me I would enjoy their food. That sort of awareness and confidence in the product speaks volumes. Everything was excellent.

Context: I’m from the South and have had plenty of BBQ, good and bad, in both the North and South.
The good: service was fine, it’s outdoors and looks nice
The bad: I got a pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, and BBQ beans.
The bun was pathetic. I could walk to giant eagle and grab the first bun off the shelf and it’d be better. It’s small and dry. The pork was somewhat dry as well. Sauce was not that good but it was on some sad pork so who knows.
Mac and cheese was ok like a Stouffers frozen Mac and cheese. Not bad but nothing special.
Bbq beans were pathetic. They just barely have any flavor. Slightly sweet.
I recently went to Showtime and it was amazing. This place is closer but they need a complete menu overhaul. Put some damn flavor in it. Give us something.
