After reading such great reviews, we visited yesterday and left incredibly disappointed. Theres nothing cosy about it..its simply a square room with tables. The service was basic. The choice of drinks was very limited. My partner chose the thai restaurant as he loves prawns, but there were no prawns available and as we’re vegetarians, we were limited to mixed vegetables. A sign for me of good service is the waiter to return and ask a few minutes into my meal, if everything is ok. Nobody asked. The stodgy rice was dumped onto the table with no smile or explanation as to which was which. With the exception to the soup and the vegetable spring rolls (hence the 2 stars), the green and red curries were terrible. So thick with peanut puree , its all I could taste and scrape from my teeth for the rest of the evening. Its very very rare for us to not ask for a meal to be boxed if we cant finish it, but wanted no more than 3 spoonfuls of this rubbish. I wouldn’t recommend and we certainly wont be returning.

Everything we ate was delicious, absolutely recommend to everyone who pass through the town. We got spring rolls (best ones I ever had), pad mhe prawn noodles, plain egg fried rice and sweet and sour pork, everything absolutely exceptional.

Small place accessed from the main entrance of the hotel. Get in early or book as it fills up fast.
All food was very nice, spicy and very tasty. The cook is taking care not to over cook food and the effort shows.
I enjoyed all of my food and even delicate flavours were there and coming though.
Recommended for a tasty and enjoyable dinner.

The Tom Ka soup with prawns was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and generously packed with prawns. The chicken Pad Thai was very tasty as well. I really appreciated that the peanuts and chili were served on the side, ideal for those with allergies and great for adjusting the heat to your taste. The place is cozy, the staff are friendly, and the service was quick. Highly recommend!

No communication had a meal booked but when we got there the place was closed because of kitchen issues the annoying thing is that they never let us know so we turned up in the rain to find it closed we were really looking forward to it on our last night spoilt by lack of communication just found out that they rang me yesterday but left no message
