Hampton Winds is a teaching restaurant, and part of Northampton Community College’s Culinary Arts program. Every food item served in our dining room is entirely made from scratch by students using fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients. Reservations are recommended for lunch, and required for dinner. (Please note that our hours represent seating times, and do not represent what time we close)

Excellent place to get food from up and coming chefs. The service was outstanding, food was excellent, and the price is outstanding! The ambiance is so sweet and cozy. We are a bunch of loud people so we were probably making a lot of people annoyed. Either way, the staff were absolutely fantastic and the food complimented it.

We had dinner at Hampton Winds yesterday, the location is great, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the food is delicious. It’s the place to go to! Although it’s a teaching restaurant it is one of the best of the area! I loved that it was not as loud as many other places, the music was just right. An overall great experience. We will definitely come back! Thanks for the great evening!

Hampton Winds is one of our favorite places to go.
To get your spot, you have to think and plan in advance but the wait is always worth the effort.

I came here for lunch today after reading many positive reviews on a local food group that I follow. This is absolutely a must try for anyone in the area. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we had a fantastic experience. Our waitress, and the other people who were working were so friendly and fantastic. This is the best service we’ve had in a restaurant in a very, very long time. We each got three courses, lunch is al a carte. The prices are super reasonable, and the portions are generous. Everything was absolutely fantastic. You can tell a lot of care went into preparing these dishes. The restaurant is so cute and super clean. I absolutely will be back and encourage everybody to check this out!

Restaurant is brilliant. Been coming here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The students do such a great job each time and the atmosphere is on point. One of the best culinary experiences in the area! You can’t get a better 5 course meal. BYOB. The staff is very experienced and professional. Kudos to the students. Everyone in our group had nothing but good things to say. The meal takes awhile, so plan to spend a couple of hours. The one thing I did miss was the dessert cart. In years past the students always came out and showcased the desserts at your table. I always enjoyed seeing all the desserts. It made it so hard to choose! Great job students!

Excellent atmosphere. The food was incredible. We especially loved the appetizers. Our server was polite, prompt, and pleasant. We even toured the kitchen and everyone was all smiles. It appears to be an excellent learning environment. The students are turning out delicious, beautiful food. Keep up the good work! We will definitely be back.
