For this to be a place of business it’s not being ran well at all. Incorrect hours of operations on Google and website. You order one thing and they give you something completely different!!! Spent $69.59 there today and apparently they close at 8pm. Will not be spending money here again. Words of advice order for pick up and make sure your stuff is correct while you there. Don’t trust delivery cause they just do whatever they want and you’re the paying customer.

Ordered online spent $60 and fries were soggy like they were boiled, missing 3 sodas that came with the meal as well. And the salad is a container of lettuce tomato onion and pickles very odd salad.

We usually love the food. The fish was hot and good, but a lot smaller than normal, plus no sauce. We got half the amount of fry than normal. Plus the fries were very old tasting. We didn’t eat them. I hope this is not the new normal.

The double cheeseburger was fantastic The fries were good probably not enough fries for as big as the burger was but it was fantastic it was cooked great it tasted great a highly recommend it The nachos the chicken nachos we’re also very good now I do not like anything spicy so I asked for no jalapenos and they did put jalapenos but they were on the side so I could remove those That’s good it still had a little bit of a zip which is okay most people love a little bit of zip or jalapenos I highly recommend the chicken nachos they are very very very good and you could not have met a nicer person The service was fantastic they were absolutely happy to have the business and they made me feel like I was valued I really appreciate the service I got.

Sam’s Southern Eatery serves excellent bodega-style food with generous portions and great flavor. The fish is the standout—always fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. I frequently get it and highly recommend it. The chicken and shrimp are also solid choices. However, I don’t recommend the po’ boy—it wasn’t even served on normal bread. Overall, a great spot for Southern comfort food!

The food here was great! The flavor was nice and it was fresh. I got the fish plate with shrimp and fries all of which was seasoned to perfection. The only two things that were a miss for me is I thought it was a sit down restaurant. It’s more so of a store. The other thing was my second piece of fish was undercooked so I couldn’t finish it. Overall it was a good experience & I would go back. I’d just make sure they fry my fish hard.

Philly steak was burned, like pieces of the grill had been mixed in with the few peppers, no cheese. The fries were too salty. Had to pitch it, definitely not coming back.

The food is good if they’re having a good day but if the guy who answers the phone has an attitude, be prepared to wait long & have something wrong with your food. They put a disgusting amount of pickles under the fish plates to where the juice soaks your food, despite asking they’ll load you up with pickles & juice. I wanted to give them another shot today, but I was told they were no longer accepting call in orders which is frustrating cause they already take forever to cook the food. It’s a cool place if you have at least an hour to wait for 2 or more plates.
