This is actually a drive thru location and they also have a pickup window on the side of the building. You can either order at the window or order thru the app and pick up there. Great customer service! I recommend ordering ahead to avoid a long wait, because they get pretty busy.

I am so happy that there is a location by my house that is a drive thru! I’ve been to this location 3 times and every time the girls have been wonderful! On one of my drinks I asked if it was sweet and she offered to put sweetener in it for me AND made sure I liked it. I go at around 10am so it’s not too busy, maybe 2-4 cars in the drive thru if that. There’s an Indian girl there who was just lovely and I made sure to tell her that! People always have negative stuff to say but never gives props where it’s due. K

Alas parking is very limited and few, there is a handicap spot near the walk up window.

This is a very busy location due to the dense amount of other restaurants/stores so expect traffic and occasional jams.

CONCLUSION:
This is the very first Starbucks in our beloved Balch Springs, although i don’t frequent coffee shops my first time experience was a warm and welcome one. The food is served hot and fresh and the coffee elegant albeit tasty.
That being said there is going to be the trouble of congestion given it’s very bold location, as mentioned before expect heavy traffic not just in the drive thru, but in the surrounding areas leading in/out of this Starbucks.

I went to this location this morning 12/05. I ordered a hot chocolate that was not good at all. Tasted like hot water with non sweet chocolate in it; guessing the mocha sauce.. There was no whip either. The reason why I’m putting 3 stars is because my pastry and water were good as well as the wait time wasn’t bad. Definitely recommend tasting your drink before driving off.

As a extremely frequent Starbucks customer I must Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been too. I literally just left from getting my order. The lady handed me my coffee and said thank you. Then asked me if I paid for my order yet and I said no. They’re so scrambled and disorganized here and the service is absolutely terrible. They’re extremely slow and take way too long just to fill one order. This is disappointing to have to leave a review like this when I’m such a big Starbucks customer. Sometimes I go three times a day. Starbucks needs to fix this. This isn’t an issue but just to leave the most detailed description I can about the service I received here. They didn’t even have cups. Gave me a grande coffee in a trinta cup

This new location is really slow mobile orders get pushed last over drive thru. It’s really awkward standing in front of a mirror looking at yourself and you can honestly see thru that 2 sided window from the outside, so you see everyone in there working and you standing outside looking crazy!!! Military pkwy location is still top tier. This new location lacks in drink preparation missing add ons all the time. Plus the menu outside the location is like 10ft away from the ordering window.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience out of any Starbucks I’ve been to. Firstly, I had to order the same drink 3 times for the girl to still forget it! How embarrassing, she then tells me to go around to a walk up window? I proceed to do so to be ignored the entire time, I even knocked on the window and waited 10 minutes. On top of that this was for my mother’s birthday reward drink and that’s not the end of it, I never got the extra drink due to giving up because service was so poor. The final cherry on top is the fact my drink had dairy instead of oat milk in it which I’m allergic to. I’m going to corporate next to file a report on this operation. Terrible service stay away.
