This was not just good vegan food. It was excellent food, period. Every dish was full of flavor, well seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The experience immediately reminded us of eating in Europe, where the food tastes complete and satisfying without needing gimmicks or heavy sauces to compensate.
So often vegan options feel like a simplified or secondary version of the menu. That was not the case here at all. Everything felt intentional, authentic, and made with care. We left feeling impressed rather than just full, which is rare.
If you are vegan, vegetarian, or simply someone who cares about real flavor and quality ingredients, Little Palm Restaurant is absolutely worth your time. We are already planning our return.
Nice interior. Chandeliers adorn and add a softer vibe.
Soft opening menu. No mezza on the soft menu, but planned for their regular menu. Good idea. I like to eat a variety of items as a sample and a rule.
Ordered chicken gallaba with crushed lentils, yellow rice, chicken kafta with crushed lentil, mezza: hummus, baba ghanouj, tabouli instead of fattoush, batata harra, cheese bourek, falafel, fattoush salad no pita. $89 + taxes
Their garlic sauce is good, nice bite from the garlic. The soft pita is chewy and slightly sweet too.
Their bourek is more like an egg roll, not like the ones we first had in Macedonia. It’s okay, maybe better in wonton wrappers as bites.
The falafels are good. Liked the pickled beets. Lettuce garnish needs a bit of work as far as esthetics.
The batata harra is yummy, good kick to it.
The fattoush salad is good, minus all of the pitas. Dressing is good. A decent amount of sumac.
The crushed lentil is smooth, no chunks, liquified.
The tabouli is fresh and refreshing. I could have just eaten a whole bowl of it.
The hummus isn’t bad.
The baklava with pistachios are quite durable, wasn’t able to fork it apart at all. Had to stab it to get a fork tine in it to pick it up. The baklava wasn’t for either of us.
The gallaba was okay. Sauce seemed more of a dry rub and it wasn’t as saucy as some other spots.
The chicken kafta was moist and not overcooked, good, tame flavors.
Service is pretty good, just needs some tweaks to make sure soups come out before the meal and some improvements on some menu items.
Edit: we also ordered a steak shawarma and found it just had the same beef as the beef shawarma on the platter. A little disappointed for $78..
