Stopped in to get an authentic street taco and was not disappointed! El pastor, carne Asada and a third one the the owner recommended. All fantastic. Made it a combo and added guava frescas that was bigger than my head.

We got the chilaquiles rojo & verde super delicious! We were craving Mexican food and found this little spot. Great presentation. Staff was friendly. It may look closed but it’s definitely open. Parking Is next door due to their parking lot being under construction. Definitely recommend!

This place is SO GOOD. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is the BEST. They’re so kind and friendly, and will make you feel like family. We went on a Sunday morning, and although we waited around 30 min for our food, it was definitely worth it! Their Salvadoran breakfast is delicious and the menudo as well. The horchata is so creamy, probably the best I’ve ever had!

We ordered 2 pork pupusas & 1 cheese. They were all good & delicious. The horchata was mild sweet, flavorful & fresh for this hot summer.
The waiter, he was so kind & friendly. Muy bueno.

I was craving some menudo midweek not thinking that I would have any luck finding some as it’s a typical weekend dish but to my astonishment this place carried it on a Wednesday. Let me it did not disappoint! It had the unique flavor I was craving and it was delicious! I am definitely coming back to get some more and try a few more of their dishes as I was delightfully impressed. Plus the couple behind the counter was very friendly, courteous and attentive with great service!

I found this place here on Google and the stars and the reviews sounded great, so we went. I regret it. I’m confused why it’s 4.5 stars. Yes the staff was very nice and accommodating, but I ordered a wet fish burrito and the (breaded) fish was thin and clearly from frozen, not fresh. If I had know it would be from frozen I would definitely have ordered a different protein. The inside was 95% (dry) rice and only 5% beans, I had trouble even tasting beans and it might have helped it be less dry, which was surprising since I got it “wet” style so dryness should not have been any issue. The sauce used to make it wet was fine, a red enchilada sauce, no different than the kind from the can though (you also had a choice of green I haven’t tried).
The photo of the patio looks better here than in person. It’s all very hole in the wall, which would have been fine with me if the food tasted excellent or authentic, but it didn’t.

I wanted to make sure to be honest because I would have appreciated a more realistic evaluation before choosing to eat there on my only day in Gardena.

My husband ordered the ceviche and chicken tacos, and he liked his better than I liked mine. He said it was good not great. That’s why I rounded this review out with 3 stars.

This place was amazingly delicious, it’s a little mom and pop spot, the patio area is really nice, feels like I was in Mexico lol
We had the ceviche shrimp and fish tostadas then we had the Molcajete. Seems like they’re remodeling the parking area so the place looks closed but it’s open! I almost didn’t stop because I thought it was shut down.
