Reviews
Some of the items I ordered did not arrive, which was a bit disappointing. For the tacos that did arrive, my husband’s lamb taco got mixed in with the others, making it hard to tell which was which. The flavors were quite strong for me, so I was unable to eat my tacos, though my husband really enjoyed the fusion and thought his meal was interesting. On a positive note, their potatoes were quite good.
Overall, it may not be traditional Mexican food, but if you enjoy creative flavor combinations, it could be worth a try. I personally would not order again, but I can see why some people might enjoy it.
Update Review:
*****I appreciate the owner’s response and would like to clarify a few points.
First, three of the items I ordered never arrived. That alone impacts my rating, as part of any dining experience—especially takeout—is receiving everything you paid for. I had to call in to request a refund, and had I not done so, it seemed no one would have realized the mistake.
Second, the tacos were all placed together in the same box, and my husband’s lamb taco got mixed in with the others, making it difficult to tell which was which. Presentation and organization are important, especially when different proteins and seasonings are involved.
As for the flavors, I now understand this is a fusion taqueria, but my review was based on my personal experience and expectations at the time of ordering. The website does mention fusion, but it was still quite different from what I expected based on the photos and reviews I read.
While my husband enjoyed his meal, I personally found the flavors too strong for my taste. I did, however, enjoy the potatoes.
My intention is not to harm the business but to share an honest and balanced account of my experience. I hope this feedback is received in that spirit.
Great variety of options that brings excitement back to tacos. Personal friendly service at affordable prices. Designed for on the go with the option of Cute outdoor tables and a few small inside seats.
I understand this is a fusion restaurant but the menu was confusing until the person at the counter explained it to us, and the couple who came in after us stared in confusion for quite some time before someone came out of the kitchen to help.
My veggie taco was just okay. The slaw was good but for the long list of veggies supposedly included, most were hard to discern – a couple slivers of zucchini, one small bit of broccoli, no mushrooms that I could pick out, and I don’t remember what else it was supposed to have but it didn’t end up on my taco.
My fish taco was a few different temperatures, warm and cool, but mostly cold to near frozen when it definitely should have been hot. Didn’t feel safe to eat and I do take responsibility for not saying something in the moment.
The space itself needs some love. There are two tables that are next to a bathroom and storage area. The restaurant was very cold inside. The people who came in after us went out to their vehicle to get an extra layer to wear. I got the last fork out of an open box of plastic utensils on top of the trash can and there were four empty napkin dispensers next to the trash so I grabbed a couple paper towels from a roll I spotted on one of the counters.
Overall I have to say I would not return and truly don’t understand (or trust) all the 5-star glowing reviews.
