Came here and ordered flight of a mix of five different tacos, as well as the Tamarind drink. It was delicious, very flavorful. The service left a bit to be desired. Was trying to be polite but not pushy about paying for the bill after my plates were cleared. When I was waiting to pay, I saw a small cockroach crawling on the floor on the table next to me. *note: otherwise the place seemed clean, including the kitchen so I realize this is probably an isolated incident. I don’t think it has anything to do with the food at all. But for perception, it’s not exactly something I’d like to see. And respectfully mention it’s worth looking into.

The vibes are immaculate & the staff especially Alicia’s service felt like I was coming back to a place I’ve always belonged.

The tamales were THE BEST I’ve ever had! The prices are very reasonable & the taco & quesadillas were amazing as well.

A special gem!

A great find in Madrid. A Spanish take on tacos, which we loved. The margaritas are gvery good but the tinto de verano was excellent. I had the tacos nopalitos and they were outstanding. Not too spicy at all and such a unique and good flavor. The others in our party loved their food too. The atmosphere is busy, loud and very Madrid. The service was fast. Love it.

seeing 4.8 on google maps we had high expectations going to this mexican place. however it was a disappointment. the tacos didn’t taste too good – the one with cactus we couldn’t finish, chicken and pork were okay but nothing more. nachos with guacamole also just good. guacamole was too sour for my liking. on the bright side, the prices were not too high. we didn’t pay much but we also didn’t get much. i think there are better places to eat mexican food in madrid.

Wandered by this place at lunch time on our first day in Madrid. Read the reviews and thought we would check it out. Place was packed which was a good sign. We lucked out on happy hour 2 for 1 Margaritas (which were superb) and settled for a mix of tacos between us. The food was outstanding and a great little restaurant tucked away from the busy Main Street. We might be back before the weekend is out!

Tasty food, some unexpected spices and flavors tho when I was anticipating a more Mexican flavor profile!
The service was so-so. The place was pretty busy when I arrived around 7:30 PM, so I expected a bit of a wait – fortunately I was able to quickly snag a seat as a couple left! The server turned the table very efficiently and provided me a menu. That was the last quick thing that happened tonight. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come take my order (who, by the by, seemed incredibly annoyed that I tried to order in Spanish, which was odd), then another 20 for the food to be prepared. I assumed this was like a tapas place, where you kind of continue to order dishes through the evening, but at this point I’m fairly certain I was wrong, which I fully admit to. When the first two plates arrived, I quite enjoyed one of them, didn’t like the other – no problem, I know I’m not going to like everything I order. I then sat again, for oh, another 10 minutes before a server even looked my direction. At that point they came by and took my plates, but gave me no time to ask anything more. Another 5-10 minutes pass, I finally manage to ask for another small dish, preparing myself for another long wait. 9PM rolls around, 9:15, 9:30… at which point, I’ve been waiting for almost 45 minutes and the place is half as busy as it was when I walked in. I can’t get anyone’s attention, though, until I walk up to the register to ask for the check. The server there was a sweetheart, but while he stalled me, I see them plating my dish in the background. They explain it’s plated now, so I can’t cancel the order. No worries, but I’ve been here for 2 hours at this point, and spent maybe 10-15 minutes of that actually eating anything. I ask if they can prepare it for takeaway – again, the server at the register was very understanding, while the original server who gave me grief for trying to speak Spanish in Spain mean-mugs me the whole time he’s wrapping up the food. He hands me the bag, quirks his mouth a little, says a half-hearted “sorry for the wait,” and goes back into the kitchen area. The server at the register is apologizing my entire way out the door, so I get the feeling the other guy’s behavior might not be uncommon.
I hesitate to give them as low at 3 stars for service, because the rest of the team seemed on top of things, but between the odd interaction with the server and the unreasonably long wait-time for the food, I can’t score them much higher either.
