Amazing coffee place! The coffee is very high quality and absolutely delicious. It’s a lovely family-run café, managed by mother and daughter, which makes it feel extra special. I’ve been here twice now, and every time has been such a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming. The owner’s mother is absolutely wonderful—very kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when it comes to choosing substitutes or making recommendations. They offer several vegan-friendly options, which I really appreciate.
They also have cute merch like postcards, t-shirts, mugs, and even sunglasses. It gives the shop a fun, personal touch. Online ordering is available as well, which is super convenient.
I tried their iced mango matcha and it was so good. I brought my two small children with me, and the staff was very accommodating. The kids loved the decorations (they have adorable seasonal/Halloween displays right now), and it made the visit enjoyable for all of us.
We also picked up some baked goods to go—the carrot cake and the chocolate cake bread. Both were a hit with my kids, and they are VERY picky eaters, so that says a lot!
Definitely recommend stopping by Crave Coffeehouse, especially if you’re passing through Barstow and want a high-quality coffee, friendly service, and delicious fresh treats. I’ll definitely be back! ☕️

We stopped by Crave Kaffee Haus in Barstow and absolutely loved it! We tried the pistachio oat and blood orange latte — both were delicious, sweetened just enough and made with so much care. The place feels refreshing and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind and hospitable. You can tell the drinks are made with love. A perfect little stop on the road through Barstow! ☕

I like to support local businesses and leave reviews to help others and the owners. I tried Crave Kaffee Haus in Barstow, right off Route 66. I appreciate its local charm and style and extensive menu, however they need to work on their customer service, cashier didnt greet me and i had to creep up closer to register to be acknowledged. They need a more welcoming and hospitable service to be honest. I ordered the Blood Orange Bath Iced Coffee — intially strong coffee with a very faint hint of orange peel, nothing special. The cup quantity was misleading: wide at the top but narrow at the bottom, making it look full-sized small, when it wasn’t. For nearly $8, it wasn’t worth the price in terms of taste of coffee or quantity. Unfortunately, with rising costs, normal priced items are becoming expensive, like this. Also, their Everything bagel is $4.00. I want this business to succeed, but especially in Barstow, prices would need to be more affordable.

No words can describe, how great CraveKaffee has to be! Amazing service, the drinks are beyond phenomenal, something unique; as is the food too. Has to be a coffee shop where it truly feels like home! I highly recommend coming by, you WILL NOT regret it!

Stopped here on the way through California. I’m a big fan of good coffee, and this is the best coffee I’ve had along Route 66! Amazing service with helpful advice. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great stop for a great cup of coffee next to the Route 66 Barstow sign on Main Street. Take the extra time to explore this stop. Great pasteries too! The owners are really nice and will make sure you enjoy your stop.

I came in mid day, while I was driving through Barstow. I was the only one in this coffee shop, and I am honestly so surprised. It was very cute, and the lady was very nice!

Coffee snob here. Looking for decent coffee between Vegas and OC and I don’t like the big chain coffee. Cute little family owned business with pretty great coffee. I got a latte and my husband the chai tea and both were delicious and will give us the boost we need to make it the rest of the way home. Try it, you’ll like it!
