Tasty fork
The food here is excellent, specially the quality of the sushi, they also have a selection of ramen and appetizers that are not fish or seafood related that are equally good. This is perfect to accommodate our family since my kids have allergies. Highly recommended. The only caveat is the wait, it gets crowded during weekends, so reservation is a must if you don’t want to wait 30-45 mins.

We’ve visited this place numerous times, and it used to be one of our go-to spots! We came back recently for dinner, and I feel like the quality has slipped a bit compared to before.

The ginger salad dressing was watered down, so I wouldn’t order that again. The tuna sashimi was cut very thick this time and the center of the piece was still frozen. The tonkatsu ramen was also noticeably saltier than usual.

We went on a Saturday night, and it’s normally packed and hard to get a table, but they weren’t as busy this time. I’m starting to think other locals may have noticed the same changes in quality?

The salmon truffle and hamachi carpaccio was still yummy, and the wagyu and salmon belly nigiri are still favorites of ours.

Customer service wasn’t as great this time either — we normally get the same older lady who’s nice, but we had someone new who seemed a bit impatient and didn’t check on us as often as we’re used to.

Usually I’d rate my experience a 9/10, but I would rate our most recent visit a 5/10.

I waited until my second visit to review this place. Here’s what’s consistent: Fantastic food both times the food was delicious. During our most recent Valentine’s trip our server Virginia was the sweetest! I want to gatekeep this place it’s so good. The Lychee sake is my personal favorite. I also really love the tuna tartare- not too spicy, and the sauce perfect.

We made a reservation for my mom’s birthday couple nights ago. Loved the ambience, the place was bustling.

Immediately was greeted as we walked in and staff guided us to our table.

Got the edamame and okonomyaki as appetizers. Had a 10-15 min wait on the okonomiyaki, and both were delicious and well worth the wait. I was surprised how savory it was, you don’t get that greasy mouth feel and the vegetables were crisp as well as the pieces of seafood and the right amount of seasoning and it was not too salty. Each bite was phenomenal.

Split the miso soup and oyako Don for our two toddlers. No kids meal, but the udon or donburo always seems like a safe bet the kids will enjoy.

The adults got the Sushi Sogo. OMG!
Fresh as can be!

Told our waitress how delicious the sushi was and she said they have a vendor that ships straight from Japan.

Yes, you’re paying a premium, but I recall my last trip to Japan being blown away by the freshness of sushi there. But this wins hands down the best meal I’ve had in a loooo g time.

Each piece was so carefully crafted and had so much umami and look at the attention to detail! Each Nigiri that had a small pea size topping had varying flavors and personality that played well with each bite. Some of the Sashimi had sweetness to it on top of the fatties and complimented by pickled ginger to cleanse your palate and fresh wasabi!

If the owners see this review and would like to point out the types of fish and the different toppings for each Nigiri, I’d love to learn exactly what was in it. But no worries, I will be back for sure!

Even this morning I told my wife how much of an impression the sushi had on me. Everything was spot on and our waitress had a busy busy night, but made every effort to make it a pleasant evening. Sushi Sogo was truly a work of art. My trip to Japan won’t be for awhile, but this team truly brought a piece of their culture here in Suwanee and have to admit some of the best sushi I’ve had in my life.

Will be back ! Thank you MoRi House for a memorable experience!

Love the selections they have on their menu!

The wide selection of rolls, from fresh rolls to cooked/baked rolls, fits the different pallets my group had for sushi rolls and we were all able to enjoy the food.

Also recently visited and they were having their 22nd anniversary menu (congrats btw), and the Wagyu toast and Wagyu Misozuke were immaculate!!

Service was a bit slow, but it was busy inside so it is to be expected. Otherwise they were all nice and friendly

The sushi is a culinary marvel, showcasing the perfect harmony of freshness, flavor, and artistry. Each piece is a work of art, with vibrant colors that immediately catch the eye and precise craftsmanship that speaks to the chef’s expertise. The fish is impeccably fresh, so tender it almost melts on the tongue, while the rice is perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of vinegar and texture to complement each bite. The thoughtful combination of flavors—whether it’s the delicate sweetness of the fish, the slight kick of wasabi, or the subtle saltiness of soy sauce—creates a symphony for the palate. Every roll is not just food; it’s an experience of tradition, care, and mastery, leaving you eager for the next bite.

The service was nice here. It was already pretty busy by 5p, looked like overflow parking at the dental place after they close is okay. They had a wide variety of dishes so I tried their special rolls instead of my usual order of nigiri when I am at a sushi place. The fish amount in the rolls was small but at least the radio to the rice was equally small so it wasnt just overpowered with rice. The sushi rice was well seasoned but a bit too soft/mushy. I’d give it another try since it’s so close to me but it’s not somewhere I would take my guests if they are craving perfect sushi

Great experience! Decided to do an Omaske experience so it was a 7 course meal. I highly recommend if you have never experienced it before.
I’ve gone much before and the sushi was always on point! Fish is quality premium grade so there’s no fishy smell and it’s very fresh.
Hats off to the sushi chefs. Always a great experience at the sushi bar.

So fulfilling and satisfying every time we come to MoRi Sushi house. We have been coming here for years and it’s the perfect place for lunch meetings or family/friend dining. The staff and chef are so warm and friendly. The dishes are always top tier. Our usual will be the Surf & Turf which has wagyu steak and so delicately delicious and the Sushi Deluxe which is the 12pc nigiri is always so fun and exciting to eat. I always start with their vegetable tempura because I love vegetables and anything tempura, takes me back to my childhood! MoRi Sushi House will always be on our top list and we definitely cannot wait to come back.

My husband and I decided last minute on a Friday evening to check this place out. We arrived around 7:15pm and the facility was busy. The sushi bar area was all clear, but we requested a table. We were sat pretty quickly by friendly staff.
We ordered the pork gyoza (pan fried) and it was very good. We also ordered the Wagyu steak appetizer (4oz) and the waitress brought it out on a little blackstone and cooked it right in front of us, about medium-rare). It was delicious. We also ordered the Crazy Roll, the 101 Roll, and the Oceans 13 Roll. I wasn’t crazy about the oceans 13, the 101 roll seemed like it had too much cream cheese and not enough lobster, but the crazy roll was my favorite. Will definitely come back and try more options.
