It’s my second time in this sushi restaurant. The service started out slow on a busy Friday night but it quickly improved.
We loved the seaweed salad, grilled shishito peppers and soft shell crab appetizer. The sashimi, salmon lover roll and Cynthia roll were fresh and nicely prepared. I asked for grilled salmon without teriyaki sauce and it came out nice. The dinner was satisfying.

Nice people but last call is 8:45pm on a Saturday… so 8:15pm during the week? Like most places… shrinkflation. Prices go up, portions shrink. But consistent food and nice people.

Located on Lake just past T-Pumps. The restaurant is small bit quaint with several tables and sushi bar seating. Staff are attentive and helpful. However there were only 2 waitstaff available when I was there and they appeared very busy. One more floor staff member would have been useful. Sushi was fresh and quality was fair. Pricing is reasonable for food and beverages. Seemed like a lot of regular diners and the staff treated them very well. Overall not a bad sushi restaurant on Lake in Pasadena.

Been going for years. .A South Lake institution with 18 years serving our community. The atmosphere lends itself to intimate conversation at the tables. And the sushi bar can be either a contemplative time or celebratory and gregarious.
