This restaurant’s atmosphere is unique and different. Bringing a Louisiana style feel with the vibes and the food. I’ve tried everywhere on this menu at this point and I haven’t tried a thing I don’t like. It’s also welcoming and friendly there. The owners / staff are top knotch. You can stay as long as you’d like and hang out. It’s BYOB settling. Fridays and Saturdays they even have live music. This is a must stop in this area and a true gem for Cave City, AR.

We loved our Gypsy Willow experience start to finish. The food portions are as fantastic as the taste, and staff are very nice. The ambiance is rustic, cozy, and fun. We will be back to taste the rest of the menu in the future. Best mac&cheese I’ve ever had; the crawfish added such a great texture to the bites in the sauce.

This place is truly a hidden gem!! I tried a little of everything… the crawfish mac n cheese is amazing; the shrimp dishes (yes, all of them) are to die for; best beans I’ve had at a restaurant; and somehow the BEST thing they do is oysters! This spot feels and tastes like it was plucked straight out of New Orleans and dropped out on the Highway in Cave City! if you live nearby, you’re lucky…you have one job: keep this place in business!! If you’re passing through, STOP HERE… you will not regret it!
Also, the folks who own/run the joint are amazingly kind people. The vibe is so cool—feels very down-to-earth but not quite a “dive” feel. Outdoor seating available for when the weather is nice! I can’t say enough about The Gypsy Willow… absolutely blew my mind!

We had such a great time at Gypsy Willow! The atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming! It definitely has that cozy, family vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing, and the oysters were so fresh and full of flavor!
The live music by John Michael Stastny was the perfect touch.. his acoustic set created such a great vibe for the evening. Great food, wonderful people, and an easygoing atmosphere… we’ll definitely be back!

When we arrived they had four cars on the lot. I walked into try to order and was rudely blown off for about 5 minutes. When I asked should I order at the window I was dismissed. So I sat down and waited. It was only when he found time that he even greeted me or took my order. And then he acted upset about that telling me that it would be a 30-minute wait. If you can’t handle busy times hire more people. The food wasn’t that great and his attitude was way worse. They weren’t even that busy so I’m not sure why he was rude. There were four of us and we won’t be back

If you’re looking for a swamp shack with the best food around. This is it! The shrimp poboy was loaded, the beans and greens were excellent and the tater logs were yummy. The grilled oysters with shrimp topper was freaking awesome and I don’t really like oystets!

I do wish I had taken a picture of the oysters. Yum! Oh, and the jambalaya is made to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Bring cash and your appetite. Don’t let the porch vibe deter you from inside dining during the cold months. Unless it changed since the move, they have a little stove in the corner that just adds to the vibe. Down home food and people. Stop by once and you will be back!
