My wife and I will most definitely return!
Ironically, the 12 course meal filled me up even after fasting all day. Every single dish was delicious! It is very difficult to decide on a favorite.
I ordered an extra dish called the Big Mac, which contained uni, fatty tuna, scallop, and wagyu, and I highly recommend it. Quite literally, it’s worth its weight.
Both chefs were fantastic and very nice. The maitre d’ staff were also very accommodating. Everything was very intimate and felt private. We felt like VIPs.
Cannot recommend this place enough!
Outstanding food quality and presentation — the chefs are excellent! Definitely worth the $125 for 17 courses.
Drinks: 3/5
Nothing special and quite overpriced. The prices listed on the menu don’t include liquor tax, so a $20 drink actually comes out closer to $25.
Also, shame on you for charging $16 for a small bottle of sparkling water — that’s excessive, even by fine dining standards.
Overall, a great dining experience for the food and service, but the drink pricing could use some reconsideration.
Parking: Options include street parking, a nearby garage, or valet ($15 for 2 hours). We chose valet, but it took 15 minutes to retrieve our car at the end, which was a bit frustrating.
Timing: Our reservation started 20 minutes late, which set things off on the wrong foot.
Experience: One thing we did appreciate was how the chefs prepped courses for everyone at the same time. This staggered approach helped them serve all 12 courses in under 60 minutes, which kept things moving smoothly.
Service: Johnny and Edwin handled our side and were both very nice and attentive, which we appreciated.
Food: Unfortunately, the courses themselves didn’t stand out. The quality just didn’t compare to what we’ve had at places like Kase by Noko. For the price and concept, we expected a bit more in terms of flavor and presentation.
