Lazy Dough is truly something special. The menu is so unique and thoughtfully curated, and the prices are extremely fair for the quality you’re getting.
Firstly Ira a small but very cute café. It has a miminlist modern vibe and a cute outdoor patio. It’s small and intimate but feels very refined at the same time. I could do some work here or have a great breakfast with the family, partner or gals brunch!
Ok now for the good stuff:
Let’s talk about the matcha — because WOW. They use actual ceremonial grade matcha and whisk it properly, which already sets them apart. I had the ube matcha and I was genuinely trying so hard not to chug it before my food arrived. It was smooth, balanced, and layered — not overly sweet, just perfectly crafted.
And the food… next level. Everything is beautifully made, and you can taste every individual flavor — they all complement each other so well. You can tell everything is done to order and handled with care. Even the to-go pastries are incredible — not an afterthought at all.
As a former chef, I don’t say this lightly: this place is special. It’s one of those spots you want to tell everyone about… but also secretly keep to yourself. It’s officially a staple for me and a must-bring spot for friends and family.
And I can’t finish this review without mentioning Cindy. She is so sweet, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. She crafted the drink menu, and you can absolutely tell she put real thought and intention into the flavor profiles. There’s heart behind what they’re doing here.
Lazy Dough is a gem.
And the croissants are obviously made in house because they’re so flaky and buttery. Like the kind where the layers just pull apart and you get crumbs everywhere in the best way. Crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Add the prosciutto and it’s just chef’s kiss every single time.
The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is seriously the best. They remember me by name and whenever I walk in they call out to me which makes my whole day. They’re super friendly with my dog too which means everything. You can just tell they genuinely care.
The staff is awesome. The food is amazing. The vibes are perfect. Overall just the best. 10 out of 10 every single time.
My wife had the croissant which is also made in-house super buttery, perfect amount of crispness and it doesn’t really leave you feeling heavy. The poached eggs were the exact consistency that we wanted.
I had the Bulgogi burrito which I had never thought to try it before, but it was also very good even the salad that comes with the food had a really nice dressing. I’m also a big fan of sauces and my burrito came with a special sauce that they make in house that was easily an 11/10.
And then to top it off, we tried their pastry’s. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE DUBAI CROISSANT!!!
We talked to the owner, who is also the head chef (this is why restaurants are successful in my opinion) and he explained to us that he went to culinary school and he had a passion for cooking.
If you made it this far in my review, you can probably see how much effort I put into making this and I have no affiliation with anyone here. I just really want a restaurant like this to thrive. They also have a very interesting pizza menu, which I am going to definitely be coming back to check out.
We got the prosciutto and honey pizza and bulgogi burrito.
The bulgogi burrito was very reminiscent of Roy Choy’s Kogi and the pizza was incredibly flavorful and fresh!
We didn’t try the coffee because we got coffee elsewhere and wanted to eat, so we went here. I wish we went here first! Their coffee options look really good and we’ll have to try it next time.
Overall would recommend.
