Reviews
1. Their cO2 was out leading to flat soft drinks and flat lack luster Beer.
2. They were out of almost everything. They were out of toppings for their signature burgers which lead to plain basic burgers and burgers on sandwhich bread.
3. Our waitress was in the weeds all night and we had to get our own refills for our table multiple times.
4. The AC was broken and it was very muggy in the resturant.
5. It took 24 minutes to get appitizers ( fries ans pickles) and 40 mins to get our food with a 30 min gap between recieving our appitizers and actually placing our orders for our food.
Overall would not be a repeat customer.
We came as a large group and were seated outside. After about 30 minutes, we were told they had run out of wings—which was surprising for a Saturday night at 6:30 PM. We decided to go with burgers and pizzas instead, but after waiting for nearly an hour, we were informed that the kitchen had closed around 7:24 PM. It was very bizarre to be kept waiting only to find out we couldn’t order at all.
That said, our waitress was very attentive and did her best despite the disorganization.
Update, response to the owner:
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I want to clarify that my original review wasn’t written out to exaggeration; it was a reflection of our group’s actual experience that evening.
First, I’d like to point out that your response came across as surprisingly defensive. Referring to our group as potentially able to “take on the Clemson Football team” and questioning the term “large group” felt dismissive rather than constructive. Whether we were 25 or 28 people, the main point was that we were seated, waited for a long time, and then told key menu items were unavailable, only to later be informed that the kitchen had closed (someone came out and told the two guys, “we’re not taking any more orders”) That sequence of events is what guests would reasonably interpret as disorganized.
Second, your claim that the kitchen remained open until 9:30 p.m. contradicts what we were told by your staff, who informed us around 7:24 p.m. that no more food could be ordered. If a limited menu was still available, that was not communicated to us, hence the frustration.
Lastly, it’s disappointing that instead of acknowledging the breakdown in communication and service, you focused on minimizing our feedback by labeling it as a “lie.” That’s not how respectful dialogue with customers should work.
That said, I hope you can take this feedback in the spirit it’s intended, to help improve the experience for future guests, especially those coming in larger groups.
