McFeely’s Gourmet Chocolate opened its doors on June 13, 2013. Our quaint store has many chocolates to choose from. Fruits are our specialty. We offer strawberries, raspberries, and a wide variety of other hand dipped fruits. Our most popular are the tangerines, Fruit is by order only and pick up at the store. Since our chocolates are hand dipped there will be irregularity in shapes and sizes. This is the beauty of enjoying and knowing we are not a factory. We pride ourselves on the work we put into each piece of chocolate. Remember when you’re in downtown Irwin or Greensburg to stop in for a free sample!

Cute little ice cream/fudge shop in Irwin! I live on the other side of Pittsburgh and was visiting Millers crossing when I decided to try this place out. The cannoli ice cream was amazing! I also bought a brownie, a buckeye, and a chocolate covered smore. They did forget to give me the buckeye in the back bit no worries the rest was absolutely worth it! The chocolate s’more was sooooo good and so was the brownie! The lady at the front was also very kind. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

For everyone complaining about the size of the storefront are just silly. Downtown Irwin is a small town and almost ALL of the shops are small, that doesn’t take away from the product. We stopped in for the first time during Gig on Main. Bought an apple and some pumpkin truffles. Yes the apple was $16 but it was HUGE and dipped into delicious caramel, chocolate and fun toppings. Even splitting it we couldn’t finish it at one sitting. It’s a shame when people bash these small town businesses who are struggling to keep up with the chains.
Will definitely be back and pay the few extra bucks for quality and supporting our small businesses!

First time visiting this place and we got a variety of different chocolate/truffles. The store itself is cute, very little without that large chain store feeling. It did smell a little like cleaner or fabuloso, just my opinion! The service was ok. The chocolate however was nothing special and it tasted more like melting wafers than real chocolate. Highly disappointed. We did not get ice cream so I can not comment on that.

Everything was Great! We recently spent a date night downtown in Irwin, Mcfeely’s chocolate and ice cream was the highlight! Customer service was great as we fumbled around selecting several chocolates to take home, the young lady was friendly, patient, and informative. We also got ice cream that we enjoyed outside. As we have got to enjoy every piece of chocolate since our visit highlights included the peanut butter chocolate pie, the brownie, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered smores! Look forward to our next visit to try more of the items and revisit some of our favorites!

Cute little shop. Stopped in to get a coffee and hot chocolate as the sign on the sidewalk advertises and the girl inside said they had no drinks. Disappointing, would be very nice place to grab a coffee or espresso drink and enjoy a treat. Oh well maybe next time.

Shop is very cute. It is the perfect size for what they sell. We didn’t try any ice creams but the fudge, as well as chocolate covered peanuts, espresso beans, and various cordials were amazing. The base chocolate is some of the best I’ve had, way better than the main brands you get from the store. The lady there was very kind and helpful, and she was a pleasure to chat with. I will most certainly return here (especially for the fudge!)

Chocolate was great! Nice selection! I will change my rating when this is responded to and hopefully handled. Service was terrible. I find it important for business owners to carry the context of what happens when they are not present. My wife and I visited on a Sunday with our son. Our intention is to have a good time and have an experience with our son. We don’t care how much money we spend. I will simply say that we were so incredibly rushed and nonchalantly ignored as customers that it deterred us from buying ice cream, a milkshake, and a whole other box of chocolates. I know how frustrating that can be to a business owner, so I find it important to pass this along. We felt the need to quickly leave, and my wife and I discussed the importance of customer service and marketing while enjoying some fine chocolates and watching American Horror Story that evening. When this is handled, my rating and review will change and I hope this is understandable! We hope to be back soon!

We just stopped in to buy 2 pints of ice cream, one prepackaged and the other pint was hand packed by the employee. The employee didn’t pack it down very much. When I got home I weighed it and it was 10 ounces and the prepackaged pint was 15 ounces. The ice cream is always good, however I should get what I pay for.
