Nell’s was very nice to have after a long day of hiking!
The line forms early so be mindful when you go.
I know there are not many options inside the park so it’s nice to have Nell’s as a quick place to get food. The quality is eh but there’s not many options.
The prices here are VERY good. Around $9 for a sandwich or any entree for being that remote is such a good deal.

The grilled cheese that was expensive had one slice of cheese on it. The fries were hard and cold. The watermelon looked good but wasn’t sweet and had some herb on it that was bitter. The guy taking our order was kind though.

Considering you are inside a National Park, the food is not bad. I’ve been in other National Parks where the food was much less desirable. The service is friendly(95%seasonal college kids). Was there for 5 days for area’s hiking. The best of the menu was the Breakfast wrap, Caesar’s salad/chicken and their Beef burgers. The bison burger was lean and too dry. Their trout BLT gave me an upset stomach.

One of the best burgers in the park. The portion of fries was great after a 10 mile hike! The breakfast sandwiches were also great. Everything here was reasonably priced and tasted great!

You’re definitely better off eating here than up the street at Many Glacier Hotel. At least most of the food here is tasty and fairly reasonably priced, unlike the Hotel.

Decent food at a premium price, but it’s your best option if your staying near the campground. Staff was lovely!

Pizza and chicken fingers were excellent. Beer was great too. The cashier taking my order was extremely friendly. Packed out my leftover pizza which was a nice treat in the backcountry. This was an oasis for a thru hiker.

We had a mixed experience with Nell’s over the course of 3 days. The hardest thing is there are almost no other options outside of the Many Glaciers Hotel and Nell’s on this side of the park. We love visiting national parks, but also keep our expectations measured when we visit restaurants in the parks due to seasonal staff (high turnover), difficulty getting food, and frankly it’s not the focus of going to a national park.
The first meal was a Western style beef burger with sweet potato fries. It was underwhelming. The burger was dry with a teaspoon of BBQ sauce and overloaded with fried onions. The sweet potato fries were undercooked and mushy.
The next meal was a pepperoni pizza and another Western style burger. The burger was significantly better this time around. Maybe a different chef? The pizza hit the spot but isn’t anything to write home about.
The last meal was the breakfast wrap which was quite good! It could use a sauce as some parts were quite dry, but the tortilla is crispy, cheese is spread out within the wrap, and it has a great ratio of ingredients. Highly recommend this!
Overall it’s a decent spot. Results may vary. Don’t go fancy. It’s a diner folks. Go somewhere else if you’re seeking specialty dishes.

Ate at this gem of a spot twice, on both our visits to Many Glacier. Reasonable prices, great friendly service, and nice atmosphere. The pizza is surprisingly good, didn’t want to stop eating it. The bison burger with cheddar and bacon was also super tasty.
