My husband and I went there for brunch and he got the El Davids burrito and I had the breakfast burrito. Service was incredibly fast. Prices are cheap, we paid $22. Food was really good and was definitely homemade. Excited to try other breakfast items.

This should definitely be categorized as an American Mexican fusion. And being as it is a fusion restaurant, I tried both more American and more Mexican dishes. I believe they nailed the American breakfast quite well. The breakfast Quesadilla was good as well, but I feel the spices were played down. (Perhaps to cater to a specific customer base) The chips were wonderful, but the salsa was similarly played down in the spice department. I believe they are capable of making really good Mexican food, but don’t want to scare the customer base away. Perhaps giving a full spice/spices and less spice/spices option would be the answer?

El David’s was recommended by an Eaton local, no one in our group of ten were disappointed. I had the Huevos a la Mex, the eggs were correctly cooked, the bacon crisp, but not over done. I had the medium spice salsa, it wasn’t overwhelmingly hot but had a nice flavor to it. The menu has a wide range of choices from egg dishes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, skillet dishes, and burritos, prices were very reasonable. My lunch companions all seemed to enjoy their meals, as there were no left overs.

This place is amazing! You have to try it whether you live in town or just passing through. Lots of options to make everyone happy. The Chile is fire! Hot is hot hot which is hard to find and they serve menudo every day! Our kids like the classic breakfast options. The servers are wonderful, they already know us by heart and have it in when we sit down. Eaton is lucky!

We went today on Easter – it was delicious and the staff was really friendly! Breakfast burrito was really yummy, even with just the mild green chili (because I’m a baby and was scared of the hot). The fries were yummy and crispy. They gave our kiddo a special Easter Rice Krispie treat as well. He was ecstatic!

Tried El David’s for the first, and last, time today. Got the “Belgian Waffle,” which was almost just raw batter and looked exactly like an Eggo (but gross), severely overlooked eggs, and bacon. The bacon and coffee were ok, I took one bite of the waffle and eggs and was done.

Delicious Breakfast! The medium green Chile is super Authentic and has a great flavor with a kick. Highly recommend going here for breakfast, I’m excited to try their lunch next time.
