Had my wedding here and it was absolutely the best, everything came together so well and we had the best of time! The ceremony setup in front of the waterfall is beautiful! The food was amazing and hot when it arrived at the tables. Donna did so well and checked in with me very often to see if I needed anything and responded back to in a promptly. This venue is the perfect spot for a Midwest summer wedding.

I like that they are open now in the winter months for fish fry Fridays. They add some new items on their menu.
Back again, 2023, for another season for the friday night fish fry and bake. The fish is very good, but the potato pancakes are room temperature or just over room temperature.
Can’t wait for fish fry Fridays. It starts 4/01/2022. They plan to be open now till the end of the summer of 2022 for AYCE fish fry.

The all you can eat fish fry is amazing! Your choice of fried or baked or both. Fries or potato pancakes and it all comes served family style. We go just about twice a month. The staff is awesome! Love, love, love this place!!

The fish (fried and baked) was not good nor were the potato pancakes. The tartar sauce tasted old. Asked for a drink with squirt and got sour mix. They are definitely not the same thing. Overall not a good experience and I won’t be back.

Geriatric facility. Fish was fried perfectly. Not much flavor, as well as the potato pancakes. It was edible. The coleslaw and apple sauce were good. I hope the elderly gentleman who fell into a chair, table, and then hit the floor was well, the next day, as he seemed more embarrassed than anything, while he was immediately helped up by the staff and seated at his table.
It appears he ate well, as G & I were just finishing our dinner when this happened in front of us…..

We used Red Barn catering for my wife’s birthday party at our house, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! Donna was great to work with start to finish. Even though they had two events running concurrently to ours, Amy was there on time and set everything up. We chose chicken and ribs for two mains, and they were amazing. I was surprised at just how good the ribs were. I have had my share of ribs, so I know! The salad was really great, along with some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve had. I highly recommend Red Barn, and honestly am relieved now that I know I have them as my caterer when upcoming parties happen. Thanks again.

Awesome fish. I’ve had fish at many restaurants and Red Barn is in my top 3. Gotta try the cod. A year later, went again and got there around 5p, but got seated at 6:03 and told them we were here for almost an hour (the fish costs more after 6p). They would not honor the lower prior to 6p cost. There were at least 2 or 3 sets of folks who walked in after us, but were seated before us. From what I understand, you cannot make reservations so how did those folks get seated before us thus were able to get the lower cost. My guess is those folks are friends of the employees.
