My coworker introduced me to this place, so I went there for lunch.
I think I’ll be using it often in the future. The price is really the best. Fried rice is under $10. Most of the food is around $10, so it’s really cheap.
The amount of food for one person is enough for two. The taste is also excellent.
The side dishes change constantly.
Since it is self-service, there is less burden on tipping.
There is nothing lacking.

I’ve been to the other Maki Boy in Irving, so I know their food is good. The one in Las Colinas has more limited hours but the same great food and great place for a quick lunch or early dinner. Food is tasty and hard to find good sushi at a more affordable price. The soft tofu stew really hit the spot on a chilly day. The menu has large selection of sushi rolls, noodles, fried rice, bento and also Korean cuisine. Not the place for a fancy date but place for good food at an affordable price.

Food was absolutely outstanding. The seafood is fantasticly fresh and satisfyingly delicious. Highly recommend the spicy seafood soup and the chef special sushi combo.

Amazing food and very friendly staff! I would recommend trying some of the rolls with a main entree! I got the 10 piece sushi and chicken teriyaki! Both were great! My favorite was the eel sushi! Will definitely go back, cant wait to try more of the menu!

This location is more spacious than the other location in Irving.
The food is still AMAZING!
My favorite dish is the Eel Donburi.
It’s grill cooked eel in a delicious mouth watering sauce cooked to a crunch edge but still breaks in your mouth per bite.
Served on top a bed of seasoned white rice. May I recommend mixing a small amount of Wasabi.
With sides included in the big bowl.
Crab meat, panko(Japanese bread crumbs) tobiko caviar(fish eggs) avacado (a nice healthy amount) sprinkled with flakes of nori(seaweed).
This is my favorite dish for a reason!
For $13 no restaurant can ever beat it!
I cannot express how much more I love this restaurant and now there’s TWO!!!??

First time visiting this restaurant. Fast and friendly service. I ordered the combination fried rice (chicken and shrimp). I also ordered the caterpillar roll. Food was great. I will be back.

Food here was quick and pretty good. Got the daily bento special which was a sampler plate. It had teriyaki chicken and salmon, shrimp tempura, white rice, and your choice of chef choice roll or Cali roll (I got the chef choice roll).
The teriyaki salmon was super tender and loved the flavor. I’ve never been a tempura fan, like I’ll eat it if it’s there but don’t generally order it, this one was typical shrimp tempura, not much to say about it. The chicken teriyaki wasnt for me, it was a bit tough. The chef’s choice roll had raw salmon and some other things, I loved it
Would come again just for the salmon teriyaki.
AND they have Mexican cokes, win in my book.
