We are regulars and the deep dish is our go-to but the other pizzas are also really good. We also enjoy the cheesy bread, I think it’s made in-house. Living in the twin cities we have a plethora of pizza places but this is by far my favorite. Everything tastes fresh and they don’t skimp on toppings. The mural of the Sopranos on the wall always makes me chuckle.

Had a customer stop in and tell us about this little hidden gem ! So we made the almost 2 hour drive and we were not disappointed. I have been dying to get back ever since the first time we tried their Chicago style deep dish.. wow it’s amazing and big! We took leftovers and reheated them on a pizza stone in the oven and it was like it just came fresh out of the restaurant all over again.. the ingredients were all soo tasty and the cheese was delicious. The kids had their cheese ravioli and loved them.. definitely worth a road trip on a nice day. Or any day for that matter.. just make sure to check their website for hours of operation.

The deep dish has a non-traditional thinner crust style (but is still deep dish), and was fantastic. Their Chicken Alfredo pizza has become my fiancee’s favorite (and she normally never likes anything other than cheese pizza.)
Their sandwiches are also amazing, and very reasonably priced.
The prices match the quality (you pay a little more and get amazing quality when compared to other places), and the staff is super friendly.
I would recommend anyone passing through Colfax to take a stop at A Little Slice of Italy. (Just be mindful of the building, it’s not quite square.)

Very good gyro, great portion of meat for a good price.
Pizza by the slice around lunchtime or Wednesday during “dump” hours could be a fun special!

One of the best dishes of lasagna I have ever had in my life! You will not believe the flavor added by the meat and a special spice that you will taste when you bite into the lasagna! Oh oh oh so dang good!
You have to check this place out!!

Annie J. catered our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration and it was a stellar occasion. Food was 5 Star! Sandwiches, Potato salad, Caprese salad, Meatballs, breads! The cakes were exceptional! Chocolate on Chocolate and White with Raspberry filling gave everyone their choice. Service was wonderful. Annie’s attention to detail will make your event a happy success!
Most Highly Recommended!

We selected Annie who owns and operates A Little Slice of Italy as our caterer for our wedding on 12/9/2023. She did an AMAZING JOB! We met at her restaurant months before the wedding to discuss our wants and needs and she checked every single box to ensure a perfect feast! Wonderful communication and reassurance that everything would be handled without an issue. We met once again closer to the wedding to cover the details and finalize our selection and guest count – again more reassurance that the buffet would be sure to please every guest we had. We decided on a ziti with Italian sausage, chicken parmesan, bread sticks, and Caesar salad. Everything was absolutely delicious! We had compliments all night about the food! There were roughly 250+ guests and they certainly didn’t go hungry! Our niece (3 years old) literally wiped her plate clean with her bare hands. Side note, the fan favorite were the bread sticks I’m pretty sure one of my groomsmen ate about 8 of them, ha!! We are certainly excited to devour our leftovers!
Additionally, Annie took care of our dessert and handmade 250 cupcakes! The guests said they just melted in their mouths – best icing we’ve every tasted! They were stunning with the perfect amount of decorative toppings that matched the wedding colors. She also made a wedding dress and suit out of the cupcakes and was able to do a last-minute color change to make our desserts extra special. They were beautifully crafted and made for a wonderful display! I’m hoping someone took a picture because I’d love to add it to this review!
If anyone is looking for a caterer for their big day or any other event, I would highly recommend Annie at A Little Slice of Italy. You will not be disappointed! Or stop at the restaurant and divulge yourself in the amazing selection of scrumptious food! Thanks again for making our special day extra special! You rock!

Very good food. Pizza crust is crispy, but not like a thin crust. It’s about 1/4 inch thick, so still doughy where it should be, and crispy where it should be. The sauce isn’t too acidic nor too sweet. The toppings are perfectly proportioned. Now, for why it didn’t get 5 Stars: No delivery before 5pm, no delivery on Mondays, and no menu online. If they addressed these minor issues, I’d rate them higher. Excellent customer service, great food! Try it next time you’re in town!

Went in for the first time and tried the chicken alfredo while the people with me had a pizza. The chicken alfredo was not very warm when I got it and after trying some of it I was not impressed at all. It reminded me almost exactly of a stouffers alfredo meal unfortunately.
I was told from the people I was dining with that the pizza wasn’t the greatest either. The service itself was ok. Overall not too impressed with this experience. If I came back, it would probably just be for the ice cream they serve.

By far the best small town pizza shop I have ever been to. The fiance and I have enjoyed Little Slice of Italy every weekend since we stumbled across them. Every pizza they make is delishous, very friendly staff, fair pricing. Love the small town atmosphere. Highly recommend you try this place!
