Street style tacos, breakfast tacos, fresh chips, queso, guacamole, and salsas made fresh everyday are what we are all about! Our name Rusty Taco comes from our founder, Rusty Fenton who was passionate about food and had a dream to open a neighborhood taco stand. That dream came true when our first restaurant opened in in in 2010 in Dallas, TX. Stop by and grab a seat, some tacos, and kick back, because as Rusty always said, “Tacos Are The Most Important Meal of the Day®!

The service was great! Food was meh. The rice in my fajita bowl was mostly the dried out crusty bits that are unpleasant and should have been tossed. The flavor was ok but mostly spicy and not flavorful. The chicken was tender!

Authentic Tex-Mex tacos in Idaho! Wow!! What a surprise! Idaho, do you know how lucky you are to have a Rusty Taco?! I’m from Texas so I know 😉 Food was perfect. Exactly what I expect from a Tex-Mex taco. Delicious! Service was good. Atmosphere excellent. Check it out!

My experience here was great!! Definitely satisfied the craving. The crew was super kind, everything was very clean, and even though we came in close to closing time, they took the time to help us out and gave us LOTS of chips!! 10/10

So I’ve eaten here several times and if you catch them when they have a good crew, the tacos are pretty good. If you catch them close to closing time and order a Tex-Mex taco you can’t even eat it because the hamburger is solid crispy like a rock. Also they bring these live bands in there or these kids that are aspiring artists and let them play their music louder than hell and you can’t even hear yourself. Think let alone try to have a conversation at dinner. Rusty Taco has the ability to have great food. Have a great business and I hope the best for them. But the way it’s looking here in Rexburg it’s not going to last much longer unless they do some changes and I hope they do because they have the ability to be a great restaurant

Was told to get the brisket nachos, got my order to go. As soon as they handed me my order I knew I was going to be let down because the take out box was so light it felt like they just threw chips in… that’s exactly what they did. Also I got maybe 3 oz of brisket in total and the cheese looked like they put it in the box first. Very disappointed. Also 40% of my chips were dry of any cheese or brisket

Heard great things about the Ammon location, so we tried this one but left disappointed. We were the only customers and still waited almost 40 minutes for our food while staff seemed to prioritize DoorDash orders. Five drinks were out, tables weren’t cleared, and when I asked to upgrade my drink, the employee seemed uncertain on what they were and were not allowed to do. The tacos were good, but cold by the time we got them. We might try again at a different time…but this visit missed the mark.

This was on the way to my hotel and after a 7.5 hour drive and barely eating all day, I was ready for something delicious. This wasn’t it. I got the chips and queso and the chicken fajita bowl. The chips and queso were really good and they were the only reason I gave a 3 instead of a 1. The bowl was very bland and there was barely any chicken. I tried the micro pieces of chicken, the beans and the rice separately and none of it was seasoned. Thankfully I asked for salsa because, although it was pure liquid, it actually had a good flavor and made the bowl edible, but not by much. The rice tasted stale. Huge disappointment.

Had super high expectations and gave them a try on several occasions. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the service was ok. Nothing exceptional, just regular service. Food quality was ok, too. Not the best tacos I’ve had, but they are in a convenient location. The big issue I have is paying $5 for a meh taco. For that price I’d expect a bit more (quantity, flavor, or at least something to make it memorable) but just left thinking “I’m only coming back here if I don’t have time to go anywhere else or I’m in the mood for an expensive taco.”

Rusty Taco in Rexburg is a great spot! The food was absolutely delicious, with each taco packed with flavor. The service was incredibly fast, they had our order ready before we knew it, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, making it a perfect place to grab a quick meal with friends or family. I’m really glad they opened up here in Rexburg, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to spots. If you’re in town and looking for something fresh and tasty, I’d highly recommend checking it out. 10/10 – definitely worth a visit!
