Excellent! Seven miles off I-71 but worth the drive. Great food. My chicken breast and 3 sides was $13. Her terriaki chicken bowl also $13. My chicken was tender, fries hot and crispy, baked apples delicious. The place was clean and service was excellent. Unsweetened tea was perfect. Not only that, it’s very close to the Ohio River and a nice little river front park. Eat and relax a few minutes. If you’re driving a long distance, 7 extra miles for good food is a very good deal. The county Courthouse is next door.

The West Side Diner perfectly resolved my midday craving for eggs and hash browns when our colleague led us here for llunch.The potatoes were perfectly scattered and without being greasy. The fresh biscuit complimented the perfect over easy eggs. Bacon was crispy as requested.

The dish, buffalo chicken Mac & cheese, was delicious! The chicken was tender, not crunchy, the sauce was Frank’s Red Hot, one of my favorites! Shredded cheese on top, white cheddar cheese sauce and elbow macaroni. Another customer sitting in the booth next to mine seen my dish and asked what it was so I told her. Seeing the buffalo chicken mac & cheese helped her decide what she was ordering. The servers at Westside Diner were real nice and courteous, made me feel welcomed. I recommend eating here and want to be a regular customer at this great establishment!

Been here three times. They very consistent, which can be difficult for a new place. Service is nice and very timely. Atmosphere is rather nice and roomy. The food is tasty and generous. Generous in portions and in the amount of add-ins. My omelette has tons of stuff inside and out, this I like!!!

1st time here traveling to see family for lunch for Christmas. Had plenty of seating options and space. Busy but you could still chat. Excellent service! Portions good size. Our table had 11. Had from breakfast, sandwiches and entrees. If you leave here hungry it’s your own fault!

We were in the area working and came across this restaurant driving through and ended up stopping to check it out. The staff did a wonderful job. And the food came out perfect. As we continue to work in the area we will most definitely be making a few more stops in for lunch. I’d highly recommend the onion rings but you cannot go wrong with the fries as well. Another at our table enjoyed the meat loaf and said they would order it again. All in all a great experience.
