This place exists at a cross section where passion meets flawless execution. For many years the BBQ you see on tv was elusive in this area. The summers here are dominated by vinegary roadside chicken BBQ – ribs are an afterthought, brisket is sparse, burnt ends are almost unheard of. Well great news; someone has finally brought the love and diligence that goes into Southern BBQ home – and they’re doing an awesome job. We’re talking beautiful smoke rings surrounding tender brisket and ribs so flawless they can go sauceless. I tried as much food as I could stomach on my first visit and I can’t wait to go back for more. The pitmaster himself was kind enough to chat with us and offer some bangin’ burnt ends. All the staff in the house was friendly and attentive. The ambience is beautiful – but I’ll tell ya I’d eat this food off of a rickety folding table in a dimly lit dive bar if I had to – it’s that good. My only suggestion, and it’s more of a personal request – add a huge shareable platter of dang near everything you make so I can bring a group and go hog wild, pun intended.

If you find yourself in Endicott this is a must stop kind of place. We had a great time, the craft cocktails were fun, the food was delicious and the people we met were super friendly.
We ate most of the menu and plan on working our way through the rest of it soon!

Delicious barbecue! The brisket tot-mess was amazing (it has a kick!), and the meat candy like nothing I’ve ever had before. The owners were very hospitable and it was a nice relaxed environment for lunch. Will visit again!

01/2025 – Very much enjoyed my meal and my dining experience. Most tables were full, so we sat at the bar (that was fine with me). The bartender was great and stayed busy the entire evening.
Our meals were great. Salmon and a smash burger that were both right on point.
We even had entertainment starting at 7pm. Very nice.
I recommend and will go again.

This was my first time here and it was wonderful. I took my 8-year-old daughter for a late lunch and from the moment we walked in until the moment we left, it was top notch. The cook and our server were well worth more than 5 stars. They not only treated me kindly, but they also treated my daughter so special, even pulling up a chair for her 3 lovies (stuffies) she brought in. And the food was so good! Excellent to be honest. The chef even made hearts out of the side pickles and a tower out of fries for my daughter’s dish. Just wonderful, all around!

It was my first trip to the North Street Tavern since it was known as Wings Bar.
Got an order to go. The Hawaiian smash burger was cooked to perfection. It also had an amazing taste. It came with bacon and a thick slice of pineapple on it. It came with French fries that had a nice taste and also came with a garlic aioli dipping sauce that had a good taste.
Also tried the Black and Tan rings, which were fried to perfection and had a nice crunch to them.
Definitely give them a try if you haven’t before. Good food.
