What a great restaurant! The inside has vibrant and colorful decor. My waitress was amazing and did a great job with service. I got the Baja Tacos, and they didn’t disappoint! I chose the corn tortillas for my tacos, and they were perfect. The shrimp was a great size, and the pickled cabbage had an amazing taste and added amazing color. It comes with a side of salsa verde and a chipotle sauce that are both yummy!
We also ordered a side of queso, and that had great flavor and great texture for dipping!

Eat here. We came on a Friday night and were pleased.
They’ve got shrimp fajitas – some places don’t. The chimichanga is huge.
The staff is great.
And the house margaritas are better than you’d expect.

Great Me I am place from door to food service, Music is relaxing and authentic, food was perfect, if you like spicy, ask for hot sauce. Salsa is fresh and Margaritas are delicious, great minimal sour compared to other places it’s fantastic, come try the food, you will likely leave full and feeling calmer than when you can in! Love this business. We had a burrito and chimichanga, which is lightly fried, not crispy though the taste makes that irrelevant, delicious.

Place was empty literally the only one in the reasturant. I got the fajitas i asked for just steak and chicken and said I would pay more to make replace the chicken with the beef fajita. It was literally like 2 pounds of onions and bell peppers with barley a fist full of beef fajita and shrimp. I made 2 tacos and asked for a side of beef fajita again would pay for it. It came out dry as hell was just disappointed at the portion to be honest. The service was decent nothing really great but nothing horrible about it etheir. The salsa just taste like ketchup. Then again I’m from Texas from a boarder town so service and food expectations different. I have to remind myself im in iowa. Other plates look delicious but from my first experience I won’t be going back. Again nothing horrible but didn’t great etheir.

I usually don’t write reviews but I have to make review for restaurant!! Everything is perfect food was really authentic and they have some special menus that you won’t find in different mexican restaurants!! I love it!! I don’t understand why this place is not popular this place deserves more popularity. I hope this place was near my house I would go there at least once a week.

Very attractive, small Mexican restaurant in a shopping center in North Liberty. The food is both more attractively presented and better tasting than your typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Many traditional favorites are missing from the menu, but there are a wide variety of excellent choices you won’t find elsewhere. My wife and I enjoyed the Chori-Pollo and the Conchinita Pibil.

Pleasantly surprised to find authentic delicious Mexican food in the heart of Iowa. Service was fantastic, prices are very reasonable and the food was excellent. For reference, I am visiting from Southern California and like Baja style Mexican food.
