The fish basket with fried Perch was *amazing*.. I got the Okra and fries for sides, and while the fries weren’t my favorite style, the okra blew me away. Even after two days in the fridge the leftover okra air fried up to near perfection✨ My partner has the bourbon shrimp, which I definitely plan on getting next time

I have been a long time fan of this place and when I heard they opened up on the East Market I was excited. The service is friendly and accommodating. Food is delicious and comes timely. I ordered the Creole Chicken Bowl with white and spicy rice. Let me tell you that it hit my taste buds right! Savory and flavorful. They also cater which I know has to be amazing! I love this place and would recommend them to anyone in need of some good Creole style food! Go and get you some today!

Ordered the catfish meal , the catfish fillet looked delicious till I bit into it . Mushy fish . Ruined the whole meal . I about threw up . Service was not the greatest and not the most friendly, said thank you twice and also made sure to tip but got no response. I Will say the fries were good tho and the sauce they make was bomb. If it was not for that I’d be 1 star.

I really wanted to love this place, considering that I recently visited New Orleans and had a mean craving for some creole cuisine. Ultimately, I ended up disappointed, as this didn’t even come close. I ordered the crawfish etouffee with high hopes, as it’s one of my favorite dishes. Sadly, there was nothing creole about it. Judging from the photos of other dishes, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing…but not sure I’m willing to gamble so I likely won’t be back. I really do hate leaving negative reviews, but I truly believe feedback is important, and honestly the dish just wasn’t good.

My daughter and exhusband recommended after my bike ride, if I stopped inside the East Market to definitely go try a Poboy, so do yourself a favor, if your on the East side near Franklin Park, stop in The Railhouse and get you a Po Boy from #Creole2Geaux. Foods fantastic and service is unmatched, then grab a slushy from next door! The owners are great and they truly care about your experience. The food is absolutely delicious! #yum Highly recommend!

Gave a 2 for atmosphere because it was a food market. This is.comfort food at its best. Ordered the Bourbon Chicken with half white rice and half spicy rice and was not disappointed. Topped with just the right amount of scallions. Very generous portion for $12. Sooo yummy. Can’t wait to go back.

This was my second time visiting Creole 2 Geaux and it’s becoming a favorite. Great selection of Louisiana classics and friendly staff. The sausage po boy is my favorite but the perch was exceptional (and the sandwich was LOADED with perch). The seasonal pumpkin spice beignets were divine.

The fried Okra is delicious. The gator bites are ok. Can’t wait to try the fish. The bourbon chicken and rice was not my favorite when I tried it. I also don’t like that there was rice in my egg roll. I’ll opt out of those choices next time. The service is great here. They are very nice and accommodating.
