We LOVE coming to Hughson Asian Kitchen for their Sushi offerings.
Highly recommend the Vegetable Tempura (HUGE portion, 13 pieces), and the Dream Girl, Hulk, Warrior, Gorilla and Scallop Rolls.
We will visit this restaurant again and again for the Sushi rolls mentioned above (and pictured below)!
P.S. both the Gorilla and Warrior Rolls have jalapeños… Gorilla has deep fried jalapeño slices in top; Warrior has raw jalapeño match-sticks on the inside… however, neither was too hot. I’m not able to eat very spicy things, and both of these rolls had the perfect level of heat.
P.P.S. the pictures I’ve included of the menu are current as of October 2025.
Note: in our opinion, The Spider-Man roll and Lion King roll weren’t bad, but didn’t rise to the excellent level of the other rolls. Also, their Chinese food wasn’t our favorite, but wasn’t terrible.

Made a pick up order with orange chicken combo plate and sweet and sour chicken combo plate. Place was real clean and food was good . Definitely will go back.

Candy was our server a she was an absolute delight! She doesn’t skip a beat! She greets everyone that enters with a welcoming smile, even when occupied. She seems very genuine and friendly. She remembers exactly how we take our beverages and it happy to help answer any questions and make plenty of suggestions with her honest opinions. I think if every place has their own Candy, they would be successful. We love everyone else too. Thank you HAK!

Stopped in here yesterday after seeing this pop up online, and I’m glad I did! This might just be my new favorite sushi joint. The restaurant is super clean and has plenty of space, and I was greeted immediately upon walking in (I sat this because that’s not always the case!). I ordered the garlic edamame and the Hughson Huskies roll. Both were delicious, but the roll itself was FIRE! It had a lot of flavor and was huge. I could barely finish it! My server was friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast. I’ll definitely be back!

Food here was great. Modern atmosphere, and the chef makes the food in plain view. Service is exquisite and very attentive. I would definitely recommend their combo plates and their sushi rolls. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Sushi was good, however the salmon teriyaki wasn’t a pleaser. It almost tasted like it was a microwave meal, very blan.
