The atmosphere was nice and friendly. The server sat us immediately and brought us our drinks with complimentary corn bread. Honestly I could’ve eaten more but I wanted to save my appetite for the food. The menu has plenty of amazing options to order. For appetizers we ordered chicken and collard greens egg rolls and the catfish nuggets. The catfish was freshly fried and delicious. I ordered the shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries. I was surprised to see that they sprinkled brown sugar on the fries, it was a nice touch. For sides the Mac n cheese and yams were both amazing and seasoned well not overdone. I will definitely return to try options on the menu. The outside display for the business is hard to see, I open they find a solution to help customers to see the restaurant clearly despite being on a busy street.

The bartender Kalani made me the one of the BEST raspberry lemon drops I’ve ever had. I like sweet drinks normally and forgot to say but once I told her she tweaked my next one and it was 100/10 .I tried the Cajun chicken pasta , got a little extra sauce and it was so good , nice and flavorful , not too salty or bland. It would be nice with some garlic bread. Overall, nice ambiance great service ,tasty food and even better drinks. I will without a doubt be back.

Best lamb chops EVER (can’t believe we didn’t take a pic ‍♀️) plus everything else… what a great place, wonderfully prepared food, yummy apps, amazing service [Emily rocks!], and we were lucky enough to catch extra ambiance with jazzy sax playing throughout our meal. Absolutely loved it!!

I frequented this restaurant while in Hbg. Last evening 03/06/2026, I had dinner and spent $175. We got two Ceasar salads to go. I took my salad out to enjoy today and to my surprise it was not a Ceasar salad. But whatever an iceberg lettuce with yellow cheese and a few croutons salad is, is what we received. If Ceasar was off the menu for the evening, just say that. Do not just serve people whatever when people are also ordering food to go just to make money. I tried to contact the number listed with no success, which seems to be a personal cell phone anyway. The jazz musician was great. The appetizers were delicious. To include, I had ordered 2 take-out Ceasar salds previously 5his week which were fabulous to this happening last evening. So, what was served to us as a take-out order last evening is unexceptable. When you don’t mind dropping money for what you want, you atleast want what you ordered.

Wow. Just wow. So good, I can’t wait to come back to eat my way through the menu!

I started with the seafood soup (a bisque) which was topped with their lump crab meat and crab fully integrated throughout the soup. A tad bit salty given that the crab already adds a salty flavor – despite that, it was delicious! Not a huge complaint but just to let you know that their “bowl” is the size of a typical cup.

Next up was the Cajun pasta to which I added their crab meat. I asked for the Cajun seasoning on the side in case it was too spicy; it was not, and I had them leave out the bell peppers and onion. Super filling and a creamy delight. The only thing that would have made this did perfect was if it came with a piece of bread to wipe up every last bit of sauce.

On the side I then got the collard greens. These were possibly the best collard greens I’ve ever had! Smoky, rich, so flavorful, with some nice chunks of smoked pork. This is a MUST-ORDER!

Parking was very hard to find the staff. There was very nice. I ordered chicken and catfish. My chicken could’ve been Cooked a few minutes longer was very rubbery, I asked for to go container to bring it home and put in the oven. My fries were good catfish nuggets were OKAY cajun corn on the cob was okay our waitress. I also ordered a margarita and it came in a cocktail glass I really think my expectations were very high because two people recommended that I try hair all in all it was OKAY. Our server she was really nice.

I love places like this— seems like someone had a dream, and they went after it.

People don’t always cook sweet potato fries right, but this place does. People don’t always get salmon right, but this place does. The bites were superb. Couldn’t get a pic fast enough. Hubby said the steak on the sandwich was brilliant!

Please add dips to the quesadillas. They were off the charts amazing, but no salsa, guac, sour cream, etc.

Blessings to the owners, cooks, and workers. Keep pushing! Been here twice and will return.

Recently had the opportunity to dine here. This establishment is in an old firehouse, and previously it was known as the Firehouse restaurant. However, the current owners have chosen not to carry this theme forward. The atmosphere feels very cold and industrial… an old building, gray walls, black trim, few decorations, no consistent theme which I saw. Very bright and harsh lighting; honestly, the light reflecting off the menu made it difficult to read the white letters printed on the black menu. Music sounded more like club music than background music for a restaurant and the volume was a little on the loud side. Without anything softening the echoes, it made conversation a little difficult.
Our server was wonderful, personable, helpful and prompt. The speed from the time we ordered until we received our meal was reasonable.
The food we ordered was delicious. However, the menu is very limited; mostly on the seafood side of things. Otherwise they have a few lamb dishes. They did have one chicken dish (Chesapeake style with crab cake and seafood soup) but I found it interesting that their menu had virtually no other beef, chicken, pork, etc. The partner I was dining with isn’t a huge seafood fan and neither of us are lamb fans, so selection was a little limited, but we were satisfied with what we did order. This shouldn’t discourage anyone from dining here, just be aware of the menu limitation and ensure that it complements your pallet.
The alcoholic beverages were disappointing and resembled something you might get in a dive bar rather than a mid-level dining establishment. Glassware seemed limited to Collins glasses (I didn’t see any drinks served in anything else) and presentation was lacking. The specialty drinks were kind of on the basic side; certainly, the cocktails aren’t going to win my repeat business.
Overall, it isn’t a bad place, and it REALLY has potential to be much better. Soften the environment, integrate a theme, improve the cocktail serve and maybe expand the menu slightly. The food is already great as was our server. I can envision returning, but based on my visit, it most likely will be with one of my partners who enjoys seafood and EDM/UC music.

Would I recommend? Yes, but be aware of the menu limitations and environment; also be aware that their cocktail program doesn’t complement their food quality.

I had several small brunch options. The turkey bacon was delicious crispy, not overcooked…. the fried potatoes were very well seasoned, best I’ve had in a long time! The pancakes were fluffy, coffee was really great. The atmosphere was very relaxing.
Service was nice. It was a bit busy and our server was attentive and funny. Chris gave great recommendations and we were all happy at the end of the meal.

*slight construction/repair on the first floor so we ask to be seated in the balcony area. I was told there was banquet space on the third floor but we didn’t eat up there.*
