I appreciate they have a drive up window, the girl at the drive thru is SO sweet. Their food is amazing, the glazed donuts just melt in your mouth. If you get a chance, stop by, you will not regret it.

We went there for some sausage rolls but they were sold out, so we got a couple of sausage croissants and they were light & fluffly and just melted in our mouths!! They were delicious!! I also got a couple of chocolate long johns and they were also light, airy and tasted great!!!!

This was such a disappointing stop! We recently learned that Daylight Donuts (which seems to go by the name Sunshine Donuts) in Vinita, Oklahoma, is ranked the #36 donut shop in the United States. Since donuts are always best as soon as a donut shop opens, we embarked on an adventure and drove the 2.5 hours from Oklahoma City at 2:30 a.m. to arrive in Vinita at 5:00 a.m., the alleged opening time.
Every indication online is that the store opens at 5:00 a.m. and the open sign was even displayed in the drive thru. There was definitely at least one employee inside walking around. But when we pulled up, nobody ever came to the drive-thru window to take our order. We tried the front door, but it was locked. I’m guessing the dining room opens for business later than 5:00 a.m., obviously.
Since no employee ever came to the window to take our order, our adventure was a huge bust. If you’re passing through Vinita on I-44 and in the mood for donuts, I’d just skip this place altogether. They’ll apparently sell you donuts only if they’re in the mood.

When I come to Vinita, this is my favorite place to stop. Donuts are always fresh and delicious. The owners are always friendly. I’ve been going thru their drive thru for years and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend visiting them.

All of our choices were delicious! Convenient drive thru window is available to those who do not wish to enter but the wonderful aromas inside would be missed.
