I was jealous of the ladies wagyu steak vs my ribeye , both were great but that wagyu has so much flavor. Don’t skip the French Onion Soup. It’s always delicious and a star in its own right. Those Long Island cocktails aren’t your run of the mill bar drink. They got punch!!! Be sure and get the caramelized pearl onions on whichever steak you get. Lump Crab meat topping and that Demi glaze sauce is to die for❤️❤️❤️If you don’t have time for a full sit down you can eat at their SunSet bar. Live entertainment some nights. They have a special menu minus the steaks but it’s delicious too. One nachos plate with a pulled pork and pico type medley will feed two people and you can still get the French Onion Soup . I dip my nachos loaded with meat in the soup. That broth is so delicious. Always good. Excellent service and staff. Very polite, courteous and well spoken.

Always great service and delicious food. This time, we just sat at the bar and chose from the bar menu which has lots to choose from. Appetizers like Bang Bang Shrimp to pulled pork nachos. Sandwiches. The portions are huge and easily shareable.

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the Carter Green Steakhouse last evening and it was exceptional. They have an extensive wine selection and you can order a glass or bottle to accompany your dinner. The service was perfect, the setting was comfortable and rich, and then there’s the steaks ~ the best cuts, prepared by the chef exactly as ordered. Michelin quality dining on the Mississippi coast!

We had dinner here on a Saturday night. They lost our reservation but fortunately they were able to seat us with no problem. I had the house salad. It is my favorite salad on the coast. We both had a ribeye and they were cooked to perfection. For dessert I had gooey butter cake and it is so much sugar it melts in your mouth. Fresh berries on top were a delicious component.

This place is very good, it hits way above its weight. It’s as good of a steak house you get and is close to my all time favorite Jeff Rubys. Crazy.

Upscale dining at Island View casino. The Carter Green restaurant is a nice place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I had the Prime Rib special with all the fixings. The salad was presented with a cucumber sliced length wise to create a thin wrap around the greens with bacon bits tomatoes and cheese. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection. Served with creamed horse radish. The French onion soup was very good. I recommend Carter Green for a great steak.

For Mother’s Day we wanted to try something new. We left with much disappointment. For starters they had sold out of the tuna appetizer, so we settled for the artichoke dip. It was very bland! Applebee’s has a much better dip for half the price. I tried the tuna steak, cooked medium rare, with the strawberry salad and sweet potato. Every dish lacked seasoning, flavor and perhaps love. There was nothing that gave a wow. The filet mignon was very tender, juicy and flavorful! We wanted to add the maple sauce as an add on but when it arrived it tasted of pure brown gravy. We passed. Not worth $62, Service was fine, place was clean, reservation process was simple, lemon drop martini was stiff! And garlic knots were delightful. There are better options that leave you satisfied and full!

Me and my husband went here for Valentine’s Day! the food was wonderful and service was okay. This was our first time at this restaurant, so we were not familiar with the menu at all and our waiter didn’t seem to offer any drink or menu item suggestions. A matter of fact, he didn’t seem to even greet us or make it a point to speak to us at all, other then asking “Are you ready to order?”. Also it took quite some time for him to even come over to our table or even acknowledge us. He took our drink order, I got a carona because I didn’t feel like getting a headache later from drinking wine or champagne. My husband stuck to water because he was driving that night. It seems that our waiters judgmental, assuming attitude started right from the beginning at the point of ordering drinks. Not to mention it already seemed like he was dancing around coming over to our table in the first place. We decided to go with the $80 per couple Valentine’s day special because he seemed as if he didn’t want to take our order or spend any more time at our table than he had to. Everything tasted delicious and food was placed on the table in a timely order and fashion. However, I feel that because we did chose the special, our waiter treated us as if we didn’t belong or we couldn’t afford to be there or we weren’t going to be able to tip him properly. This was uncomfortable and uninviting and kinda assuming on his behalf. His snide attitude and the lack of friendliness towards us kinda put a damper on our night that originally started off with all smiles. About half way through our appetizer we noticed what appeared to be a Manager walking around greeting and speaking to everyone. Then when he got to our table I smiled at him but he didn’t smile back at us or speak to us but instead skipped over us and went to the next table to greet and speak to them. At that point I asked my husband if I had something in my teeth or on my face he said “No and Why?” I replied “because he looked at me as if I did.” So when I seen him speaking and greeting our friends across the room I thought well maybe hes only speaking to people he knows but that turned out not to be the case because when we asked our friends if they knew him, they stated “No, he was just checking on us to make sure we were enjoying our night and had everything we needed.” So at that point I could only assume he was being judgmental about my carona sitting on the table versus a fancy glass or bottle of champagne. I say that because I seen him look at the beer on the table right before he skipped over us and went to the table next to us. Thank goodness the host and busser was friendly and willing to answer any questions. I only wish our waiter would have been just as friendly as the Host and Busser that night. At the end of our meal we decided to take our desserts to-go because we were stuffed. Our waiter placed them on the table and said he would be back with a bag for us to put them in. He took the book with the bill to cash us out and when he came back he never brought our bag for our to-go items. Instead he put the checkbook back on the table and walked off, not even saying goodbye or anything After that we didn’t see him again, so the busser ended up getting us our to-go bag. I’m sure that our waiter felt kinda dumb after we left him a good tip, despite the way he treated us, as if we didn’t matter or belong…! Hopefully he won’t be so judgmental about younger couples who visit for the first time! All in all we enjoyed our night out away from kids and our delicious meal. Even though our waiter was a not welcoming and the Manager smiled and greeted almost everyone except us and we lost hundreds in the casino that night. If we decided to give it another try later in the future, we’ll definitely be making sure that we request a different waiter or waitress.! Other than that, it’s a beautiful restaurant and wonderful food, that was cooked to perfection…!
