Earl’s Lodge at Snowbasin is literally the most amazing ski lodge that we’ve all ever stepped foot in. I’ve been to many ski lodges over the years and have never seen anything like this one! It is stunningly beautiful inside and a MUST visit if you are skiing Snowbasin. The food is solid here as well, a true luxury experience!

Earl Large is the main Large at the base of snow basin resort Utah. It’s the largest resort and office dining events and have some amazing views. There’s plenty of outdoor space live Dj on occasions and anybody who’s going to the mountain is able to access this. It’s extremely exquisite with huge log timbers large windows and ornate lighting fixtures the full service restaurant with bar with some amazing views too and plenty of space for anyone else who just wants to come in just their boots or use the restroom. It’s a must see if you are at snow basin.

My husband and I went to the Earl’s Lodge today, Thursday, November 27th, to have the Thanksgiving brunch. We had a great Thanksgiving brunch last year at your restaurant with impeccable service, so we were looking forward to the brunch here again this year. Unfortunately, by the time we left, we felt our Thanksgiving day was completely ruined — this is probably the worst experience we’ve ever had at any restaurant.
Our reservation time was 2:45 pm, and we did not get our table until a little after 3:15 pm which we understood since the restaurant was very busy. After we sat at our table, no staff came to our table for good 15 minutes. I finally stopped one of the gentlemen in a suit with name tag on for help. He said our server will be with us shortly. Another 10 minutes passed, no help. So I decided to get food first while my husband was still trying to get some help. He had to ask three other staff members to order our drinks. After our drinks were served, no staff returned to our table and asked how our drinks were, nor asked if we need anything while we were at the table. We saw other tables were attentively served and were enjoying good Thanksgiving meal, and we simply wondered why we were not having the same experience.
Because we did not know who our server was, we had to stop one of the water servers and ask for a check. When we received the check, I addressed the server, who brought the check (shown as “Ian” on it), how disappointed we were, and received a robotic “I am sorry” response. As we were leaving the restaurant, I saw him comfortably sitting at one of the chairs in front of the fire place near the front reception desk, checking his cell phone. We left the restaurant feeling very humiliated, and are still feeling puzzled.
I hope my feedback can help you improve your customer service quality, so that your future customers will feel well taken care of.
Happy Thanksgiving.

This lodge is immaculate! We stopped here today after our Ragnar leg and it was amazing. Everything looks to be in great working order and the fireplaces, chandeliers and even he restrooms are comfortable and nice! I would love to come stay here with my family sometime.

By far the nicest ski lodge I’ve ever been to. The dining area is breathtaking and the poop stalls are super private.
Solid WiFi connection (~21 Mbps) to connect to the outside world in between runs on the slopes. I went on a weekday and the dining room was somewhat full but there were plenty of spaces to sit.
Food is mid-tier for a ski lodge but whatever. Would definitely come back again.

I was in Layton for an appointment with my son. It was literally an 8 hour visit. I dropped him off and went to a local Starbucks. They overheard my conversation and mention that Earls Lodge was only a 15 minute drive up the mountain! I love snow and pretty views so I went up to Snowbird! It’s been a bit of a dry winter but they still had a great snowpack! The Lodge was warm, inviting, and beautiful!! I had a great cup of coffee, had a very nice lunch in the dining room, then rested on the couch. No one asked why I was just hanging out! Just let me do my thang!
I really enjoyed the lodge and the views! The food and coffee were great! And the inside made me feel like I should be visiting with my bestie Brad Pitt drinking a beer!!

Bring your credit card. You’re gonna need it. Love the pot pie, but can usually only afford the pizza. Pizza is good too, albeit a bit greasy. But greasy in a good way. Can’t get a table inside but outside there’s a darn good view!

A wonderful Alpine Lodge. Staff members are friendly and helpful. We only had snacks but next time we reserve more time for lunch.

The beer cheese tasted like hot dog water. The girl who served the pretzel
was snarky for no reason and im fighting to keep the fruit flies out of the mustard. Good thing there is a lot of fun going on outside. Its miserable in here.
