My family and I have been eating here for years……. The BBQ was the best around. We normally drive about an hour to get it, mostly on holiday’s, but I had a taste for it this past Saturday and let me say” I was very disappointed.” The BBQ is already overpriced and I was okay with paying, but it’s no longer worth it. Let me add, the quart size normally comes with a half quart of Cole slaw. They did not even have any slaw to go with the BBQ and still charged full price of $37. Needles to say” we will not be returning “. Holiday’s we normally spend $200, not anymore. Just wanted to share my experience.

The food was delicious. I asked the lady how y’all potato salad taste and the man said it tastes good to me. And he ain’t lied. It was so good. The chop BBQ was good the slaw was good the greens was so good. I am from NJ. I was there Friday. I will be back❤️❤️❤️

My wife was in rehab at Bryan Health and Rehab and I took her with her walker. There is NO seating. We ate in the car. And the $1-$10 is misleading. We purchased a pound of BBQ to take home and a chicken platter and large lemonade for my wife. That was $35. She got a leg, a thigh, and side of slaw and collards. The folks are nice. They need to contact the Google people and change the seating error and price error.

The only thing that is actually good, is the BBQ it self. The hush puppy are delicious, the slaw too sweet. The BBQ chicken was hard, and it was left over chicken, the Mac & cheese was also left over mixed with fresh, the cabbage was sweet and over cooked and chopped fine…only order the BBQ…you will be disappointed have wasted all of your money on the other food, not worth it at all. I was very disappointed and felt sick afterwards.

I stopped here while in the area. The food was decent. It was not as great as my local bat b que, but it was good. The time was a bit lengthy, but when they realized they missed an item on my order, they were VERY apologetic. I am all about owernship! She also placed an “I am sorry” item it the bag.
When in the area, I will drop in again. Customer service goes a very long way!

Order a bunch of fried chicken or pulled pork to go, but that’s all. Do not eat in.
Excellent fried chicken and barbecue. Good macaroni. The staff member was a little impatient about having to explain the difference between plates and platters, and the difference ended up being that plates only come with slaw and platters (maybe they called it “dinners”?) come with slaw and two other sides of your choice. Both come with hush puppies that are pretty good.
Slaw is basically just something green to throw away and the platter is too much food. It would’ve been better value and quality to get to choose any one side for the plate.
The lemonade is so sweet that it is undrinkable. A single cup must be 40% sugar.

They usually have wonderful food but I sent s/o to pick it up and I was terribly disappointed. I ordered 2lbs. bbq with fixings a quart of pastry and a quart of stew. Oh my!!! The bbq must have been the last for that Saturday and the hush puppies were hard as a rock. The stew is as like vegetable soup. It was not thick at all. We heated it and added crackers for vegetable soup. The only thing that was marvelous was the chicken pastry. It was so good. I tried calling them back but there was no answer. I don’t know what happened in the kitchen on that weekend but their food is usually not like that. I wasted $60 on this family dinner.
