This is the third time I’ve dined at Oye. All three times the service was top notch. The servers are all well versed in the type of oysters they are currently serving and their flavor profiles. The food is amazing! Tonight my son and I had a flight of three different types of oysters as well as the special of class in romesco sauce with sourdough toast points. Superb! The building itself is small, but the atmosphere is lively and a little funky. You can tell that everyone who works there enjoys their job. The menu is constantly changing and that makes it fun. If you don’t like raw oysters, there are plenty of other exciting options.

Every time we eat here is a great experience. Brandon and staff are so friendly, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cozy and if you’re lucky you can snag the window table upstairs with great views of Main Ave. The food is incredible in both flavor and freshness, and the prices are very fair for the quality you are getting. Oh and everything is gluten free!! We love stopping in for fish n chip Fridays, and also recently did the paired Valentine’s dinner and were blown away. Stop by, you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and instantly fell on love with the place. We sat upstairs in a cozy couch and were immediately greeted by our amazingly knowledgeable server. We ended up trying almost everything on the menu and every dish we got was absolutely incredible. We both don’t drink alcohol and we’re delighted to find a variety of mocktails available and each one we tried was outstanding. The food came out so quickly and the oysters we had tasted so fresh it was like we had them right off the boat. The owner came and talked to us and it was obvious that he has a true passion for his craft and cares about the people that come to enjoy his creations. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, whether to simply enjoy a nice dinner or looking for a wonderful date night. This will definitely be a place we come to whenever we get the chance and look forward to whatever amazing new dishes are to come!

Stopped in for cocktails and noshing on appetizers. We were seated right away and Amanda was amazing and knowledgeable. The cocktails were yummy and the oysters cold and delicious. I really enjoyed the ricotta and olives, but I found the ahi (tartare?) Appetizer lacking in flavor. The duck goyza could also use a dipping sauce in my opinion the flavors were very simple. I used some of the dipping sauces from the oyster order, but none were thick enough to coat the dumpling. All in all a great experience, made special by the staff. Will be back to try other apps!

Holy cow. I was never an oyster person but now I am. The quality of the food here is fantastic, the oysters are meaty and oh so fresh. The sauces are diverse and so tasty. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The server was great and friendly. The vibe is wonderful and did I mention the oysters are the bomb bomb. Will def be back.

Amazing oysters and cocktails. Can’t believe we can get PNW oysters this good – including multiple varieties – in SW Colorado. Cocktails were unique and so fun to try. Bartender was wonderful. Owner was friendly and was actually working. Service was fast and staff was attentive. Can’t wait to come back. I don’t usually write Google reviews but I loved this place and hope it sticks around!

They have the best oysters: compact and crunch!

We also have the crab cake, flavorful but could use a bit more salt. When the male staff came to clean, (why do I feel that he’s the owner?) and asked how’s everything, I gently suggested that bit more salt might make it pop up and out. He takes my comment positively – I don’t give advice face to face because fearing my Chinglish might rub the business/people the wrong way. But seeing the enthusiasm of the young staff, which is contagious, I boldly suggested.

It’s the second wine bar of the night. Theirs is a narrow two stories shop, that opened 11 weeks ago (did I get the number right?) with an upbeat youthful vibe. All the staff came by our table, sounded and looked genuine – thank you.

The ground level has 4 modern paintings and top level has a large window looking out to Main Ave and couple of small skylights.

Like their stems – Riedel. Pinot Noir is yummy.

The oysters … theirs are from Puget Sound in Seattle, flew in twice or three times a week. The restaurant offers two kinds, salty and sweet. (… hope I get these info right) I chose the salty one. maybe we’ll return tomorrow to have the sweet ones.

I’ve been to Seattle quite few times but couldn’t remember how delicious their oysters are. Senile. Well, reportedly, Pacific Northwest oysters are known for their diverse flavors and textures. They certainly are different from, say, like the Little Neck in New York or elsewhere.

Spectacular. I can’t say enough positive things about our remarkable experience at Oye. We had every oyster they offered, the tuna tartare, quinoa crab cake, barbacoa tosta, shrimp croquettes, and key lime pie. Everything was phenomenal. Sam and Katelyn took care of us and were both kind, inviting, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Brandon, the owner, blew us away sharing his expertise on developing his menu. His thoughtfulness and vision for the restaurant and overall dining experience is truly special. We appreciated all of the local insight on Durango and felt that the staff was genuinely happy to have us there, they were all a joy to talk to. We sat on the patio with our pup, the tables cozy, beautifully set, and peaceful. We had such a lovely time, we didn’t want to leave. We will most definitely be back, many, many times. This is a new favorite. Thank you, Oye staff!!

Unbelievable find! Brandon and his crew are top notch. Everything we ordered was phenomenal (and we tried a lot!). Some of the best oysters we have had, and the Fresno hot sauce was the bomb. We were visiting, and can’t wait to go back! When the owner comes around multiple times to chat and check in you’ve got a special restaurant. Durango, you are lucky to have a place this good!!
