Best Pho 59 is a new place in Ellicott City and my carry out experience was a very good one. The pho (pronounced “fah”) was absolutely delicious. Fellow pho lovers will enjoy themselves here.
Both indoor dining and carry out are available. I placed an order for a large pho with beef and brisket over the phone and picked up for carry out. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and answered a few questions I had. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff, and paid by CC. Everything was in the bag, and I simply assembled the dish in a large bowl when I got home. The final step was pouring the piping hot broth over everything I had assembled in my bowl.
My pho came with large portion of rice noodles, a large container of the most perfectly seasoned and balanced broth with very thin sliced tender beef. All the optional items you might expect to add to authentic pho were also in the bag. Mine included a nice healthy handful of bean sprouts, a sprig of mint leaves, couple sprigs of cilantro, a healthy slice of lime, chopped green onion, sliced thin onion, slices of jalapeno, two different hot sauces, chopsticks, plastic fork, plastic spoon and a napkin.
We will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu.

The service was above beyond expectations, very friendly super thoughtful and caring for the customers, especially lil customer who need more attention that others.
We love their pho style, with the broth and veggies that always served together. You can asked them to steam the beansprouts too if you prefer them cooked than raw! Our order was P5 and P12, both are delicious, and summer rolls as appetizers. The summer rolls was very soft, fresh and crunchy, we rarely have taste this style, you can tell the rolls looks bouncy while being served. Yuuum
What’s surprising was the restrooms check! They have the wooden diaper changing table with all of the sanitary wipes for lil kids! Awesome!
This place will be our go to Pho now!

My wife and I stopped by here for the first time on 12.17.23 and ordered vegetarian spring rolls (A2 Goi Cuon Chay), pho (P2 Tai Nam Pho) and chicken curry soup (S4 Bun Ga Curi). Everything was fresh and tasty. The pho broth was one of the most flavorful that we’d had at a restaurant in the past several years, and the herbs and sprouts were fresh.
The chicken curry soup (S4 Bun Ga Curi) specified that the chicken had bones, so I figured it would be good, and it didn’t disappoint! The curry flavor was all throughout the meat like it had been marinated or soaked in the spices. The broth was flavorful and spicy.
The prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re looking for delicious soup!

The soup has a weird.. sweet? flavor. And I found a hair stick on the steak. The worst part, the iced coffee is instant coffee…

Decidedly average. Food did not seem like other authentic pho places We have been to before. Large chunks of Daikin in chewy not crispy banh mi. Red checiken big chunks in the bv1. Pho was better than other dishes, but less meat than other places. Will not return but if we did would restrict to pho.

I have been coming to this restaurant for awhile now and never had I been so disappointed. when you spend 16 dollars on pho you would expect for the sauce containers to be at least full. well they where not and when I asked for extra sauce they refused, sauce doesn’t coast that much for you to be stingy about it! i will be telling everyone not to come eat here and I was recommending the restaurant to my customers not any more!

The vegetarian Pho is amazing! The broth was so flavorful, and the veggies and herbs were so fresh. It was perfect for a cold evening meal.
Also, they really know how to do takeout that keeps well – the veggies, tofu and noodles were separate from the broth, and the fixings (herbs, beansrouts, jalapeños, sauces) were on the side too. We got to eat it when the broth was still hot, but I bet the broth could easily be reheated if you have to pick up further in advance. Definitely recommend!

Worst! pho place in the region. First: the pho broth was a good beef broth but resembles nothing like a real pho broth should taste. Second: the spring rolls, when they came out, did not look like the picture on the menu, specifically that the picture shows the rolls with a bunch of vegetables on the side (carrots, lettuce, herbs etc) whereas the actual product only had the spring rolls. If you are going to serve only spring rolls, that’s fine. Just don’t mislead customers into thinking they are serving more. Three: they got my order wrong and refused to acknowledge it and argued with me. Even if I got the order wrong, good customer service would be serving me what I said I ordered. Most restaurants would do that as a gesture of good customer relations. It’s also a bad sign that I saw no Vietnamese people in this “Vietnamese” restaurant when I was there. I’m never going back.
