The place is clean, and warm. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was good, but one of us found the chicken in the sandwich to be a little tough. And, $2.95 for a Pepsi? Really? That just struck me as excessive.

This was a great eating experience from beginning to end! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, our waitress aiah was so much fun and so nice. The food was to die for!! I’m still thinking about how delicious my oatmeal with FRESH fruit was. I will definitely be back:)

Hidden little gem! Exceptional waitress and breakfast chef!!! Excellent value for the dollar. Clean. Don’t waste your time eating at chain restaurants when there is Mom and Pop restaurants like this. You will not be sorry!

Visiting with a friend and decided to stop and have dinner on our way home from shopping. First time eating here and it was a great choice! Received a warm welcome when entering. The service was exceptional, Crab Cakes are fantastic. Friend had the Stir Fry and it was delicious. We left telling the owner/server we will return. A great place with good food. If you haven’t been here you must try it.

My husband, son and I have breakfast/lunch here regularly. The service is amazing, the owner is kind and friendly. Her attitude has been very positive, even as she’s been working crazy long hours to keep the place open through the pandemic. We have seen the owner and her chef/cook rolling silverware, peeling potatoes, doing everything themselves to keep this place running. The food is fantastic; french fries are perfect – crispy outside and fluffy in the middle, the eggs are always cooked just right and the pancakes taste like they are homemade. Please support this local business, the food is fresh, the prices are fair and the service is excellent. They do offer takeout, so there’s no excuse not to try them even with covid restrictions in place.

This was a very bad experience today. I brought my mom to the restaurant along with my nieces because it was always so good. But this time, was horrible. The waitress was way to young, she most definitely did not have a waitress appearance as she had on sweatpants and crocs and was constantly on her phone. She brought our food out and never came back to see if it was ok and the burgers were burnt. The cook was coughing all over the place when he came out to where the waitress was, the bathroom was extremely dirty, it was overall a very bad experience. We will not be going back there anytime soon. Because it was definitely not worth $59. Not sure what happened to Royal D, but it is not the same place that I had been used too. I do not recommend it at all.

since royal D Chocolate opened back up I was in during the week food and service was great. Went in after church this morning and was just the opposite. Service was not very good, never was asked how everything was and never even got a thank you when she put the bill down. I asked for more toast cause mine was hard and it took forever to get new toast and I already finished my eggs when she gave it to me. She was busy but to make money as a server you need to make some kind of effort to communicate with customer. I won’t be giving them my business anytime soon.
