I ordered the club sandwhich, which I’d never ordered from there before. Let me tell you what: this sandwhich was thick with 3 C’s. It was delicious: plenty of meat, I asked for extra tomatoes bc I just love them! I also dipped it in their homeade ranch, which was delicious! 10/10 for all the food! Super nice waitress that Morgan was. My drink never ran out and she checked up on us consistently. I will be back again and again.

Food was amazing! I can’t say enough about how absolutely delicious it was. We ordered the Mississippi pot roast with fried squash and green beans the pot roast was so good. Kids and hubby ate burgers, chicken and fries.
We was traveling through and love stopping by local places like hole in a walls, they have the best food. Staff was super nice and friendly and everything was clean.

For starters- this isn’t Denton’s anymore- its The Local Bite. Google hasn’t approved the name change yet which is unfortunate because this place deserves to be on the map! This place is family owned and has been given a complete makeover. It has a fresh & friendly atmosphere and the menu is amazing. Plenty to choose from without being completely overwhelming. This was our first visit. We started with the Brussel sprouts and they were crispy and flavorful. My hubby had a grilled chicken sandwich (baja chicken melt) on sourdough. He enjoyed it, but it was more than he could finish, so we brought it home and he happily finished it off the next day. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was warm and delicious- the pastrami was sliced thin, piled high, and was really tender and lean. I also couldn’t finish it and took home half to enjoy the next day. We also had onion rings, fries and garlic fries- all were top notch. Our dining buddy had a mushroom swiss burger and was not disappointed. Trey was our server (and part of the family business!) and he couldn’t have been more pleasant; absolute hospitality. Needless to say- we will return! Come on Google, let’s get The Local Bite on the map!

Denton’s Diner in Loudon, TN, is an unequivocal gem nestled in the heart of this quaint town. Operating with convivial hospitality, the diner welcomes patrons from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a plethora of culinary delights that are nothing short of ambrosial.

During our recent visit, I indulged in their burger, a gastronomic marvel, with its succulent patty enveloped by a perfectly toasted bun and adorned with a symphony of fresh, crisp accoutrements. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s meticulous attention to detail and culinary prowess. Meanwhile, my wife opted for the open-faced roast beef sandwich, an exquisite amalgamation of tender beef and rich, savory gravy cascading over a foundation of pillowy bread. It was a veritable feast for the senses, evoking an overwhelming sense of comfort and nostalgia.

The service was superlative, as the staff executed their duties with alacrity and genuine warmth, ensuring every need was attended to with precision. The atmosphere was equally inviting, enveloping us in an ambiance that was both welcoming and imbued with a certain ineffable charm.

In summation, Denton’s Diner is an establishment that transcends the ordinary dining experience, offering an extraordinary repast in a setting that is both comforting and distinguished. I wholeheartedly commend this diner to anyone seeking a meal that is both delicious and memorable.

This restaurant is pretty good. the service was amazing, I ordered the grilled chicken, fries, and ocra. All meals come with cornbread or a roll, I chose the cornbread. The ocra is amazing, the fries are crispy and have a good crunch, and the chicken is well seasoned and tender. The cornbread is crunchy on the outside but soft and buttery on the inside. The inside needs some more decor, it’s bland. But overall this place is great.

I have high hopes for this place so I will start off saying this was the first day they opened so I’d like to come back in a month and leave another review on how much they have improved.

It’s a family owned restaurant making good soul food, which I think is super awesome!

Today the atmosphere was quiet, I would suggest music to liven it up a bit and it would help the wait time not feel as long too.

A smiling person or sign to tell people to seat themselves or wait to be seated would be helpful because everywhere is different so I was unsure what to do.

They were busy when we arrived so we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes on food but I expect the service to be better next time when they get their groove down.

The food we ordered appeared to all be hand made, which is amazing!
The burger was bigger than just a standard burger and was a fresh patty. Fries were deep fried, regular cut and taste good.
Country fried steak, gravy and mashed potatoes were all made fresh and felt like home, I would prefer just a touch more seasoning to all that but to each their own.
The slaw was a standard slaw but better than most.
The potato salad was my favorite, it was so full of flavor! It had like a non spicy bell pepper of some kind in it that really made the flavors pop, made me want to order more to take home.

I asked table next to me how their food was, they got meatloaf and chicken and dumplings and said they really enjoyed it.

Prices were affordable and portions were more than fair.

I was to full to make it to dessert so next time I’ll start with dessert. Today was banana pudding and butterfinger cake!

I wish I would have taken a photo of the food before we started eating but we just couldn’t wait!

Great experience. Good food. The server was awesome. Would definitely recommend. More food on the plate than you could eat. Especially the Biscuits and gravy.

Coworker and I stopped in for lunch. The food is homestyle, and the selection was pretty good. I got the lunch special, which was cubed steak and had potato salad and slaw for side. My coworker got meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and slaw. We both got a roll instead of cornbread. The food was really good. I sampled his mashed potatoes but not the meatloaf. They were very good.
The waitress knows my coworker and was very attentive to him, but overlooked me, as in no drink refill and was gone before I could get her attention. That cost then a star on the service part.
The only negative is that they are expensive.
