Truly enjoyed this place. The food was really good! I had the Singapore noodles and the flavor was off the chain! The texture of the rice noodles was perfect, they did not fall apart and were firm but cooked! It is a bit spicy but i don’t handle spice well and I was able to happily eat every bite! My wife has the Chicken Phơ. The broth is clear and full of flavor. The rice noodles, again, were perfect. My only complaint is it could have had more chicken. The flavor made up for that though. We also had the pork egg rolls and was very impressed. The wrap was light and crispy and the filling had great flavor. We also had the Chicken lettuce wraps. Loved the filling but would not have done the iceberg lettuce. It took away from the flavor of the filling. Greenleaf or romaine would have been much better. Still gave 5 stars because it was worth it!
Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Xia’s Asian Tapas. The restaurant itself has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, and the staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
We started by sharing the vegetable dumplings, which were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. For our main dishes, my wife ordered the mixed vegetables with beef and white rice, and I had the garlic noodles with beef. Both dishes were outstanding perfectly cooked with amazing flavors. We will definitely be returning to try the other dishes.

So satisfied with this visit ! And will be back. The lady taking care of us was the sweetest she could be I have never felt more comfortable out in public. She prepared the food also served us and she did the most amazing job. Food 100/10 has now become one of my favorite spots. Come check them out you won’t be disappointed.

Having lived in Southeast Asia for a while, my wife and I missed the food from that part of the world after returning to the US. By chance we stumbled upon Xia’s and were enticed by the “pho pho pho” sign – we couldn’t resist the thought of a hot bowl of pho on that cold wet day. Glad to say that we weren’t disappointed and we can say with confidence that the food was authentically Vietnamese, and felt more like the home-cooking kind.

But how good was it? The dumplings had suitably soft, thin wrappers and full meaty fillings, and the pho soup had the right touch of umami flavor (and definitely no MSG, as it didn’t give me the dry-mouth reaction afterward), just to give two examples. To top it all, Anna the do-everything restaurant owner who doubled as the waitress was such a wonderful host.

The food here is slightly pricey, but not unreasonably so, and given the quality, I’ll say it’s worth it. Highly recommended if you like an authentic Vietnamese food experience.

Lovely hidden gem! The food was great and service was very kind. I went for lunch and ordered 2 plates— the beef and green beans were delicious. This chicken skewers were either overcooked or not fresh, but still enjoyed. It took a while for my food to come but it was prepared well, just plan accordingly. Will definitely be back soon!!

Mother and I tried a new place for us, I believe they have been in this location for about a year. Extremely authentic, flavorful and excellent portion sizes. Our selections were fresh rolls, spring rolls, fried tofu, vermicelli bowl, ban Bo hue and 2 bánh mi’s to go! We will be returning over and over again. Thank you, Xia’s Asian Tapas. #vietnamesecuisine

I generally try to be pretty lenient when I review restaurants because it’s a hard job, but this place was so overhyped I’m suspecting some of these other reviews. The difference between when they were originally in this space vs. now is really dramatic.

We went during what felt like it should peak hours and were the only ones there. The TV was playing a weird YouTube documentary that cut to a *90 minute* skippable political ad which stayed on the rest of our visit- really weird vibe? The specials were sloppily written on a board that was hard to see from the entrance, only saw it when headed to the bathroom. Server didn’t even mention them or ask what drinks we wanted. Server was dressed like he should be out at a soccer game.

The food was not only bland but when your operating hours are 5-10 pm maybe some of that time leading up to opening could be used to prep and make food. While we were waiting for our food we heard the microwave just opening, running, closing. I know it’s rare to find a place that makes their own dumplings in house but that’s just embarrassing! The highlight of the food was surprisingly the tofu strips. Green beans seemed cooked well but were pretty bland and the amount of tofu in them didn’t seem worth the upcharge. The banh mi was decent but there were only four very squeaky, microwave tasting shrimp on it, not worth the price either. It was mostly enjoyable for the fresh cilantro.

Overall, for the price this place just isn’t worth it. If you want good dumplings go to May Way, for Japanese try Don Express, and we haven’t even been to Curry and Noodle yet and I’ll still recommend it over this place! It’s a real shame because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Winston. I was so excited to hear it came back, it was really disappointing.
