Well served dishes. Great taste. Amazing friendly service. Small clean restaurant. Reasonable prices given the size of the dishes. Beverages are canned or bottle soft drinks. They have Mexican traditional drinks, not authentic, but they still have them. The only thing that would have made the quesabirria tacos better would have been freshly made corn tortillas. No restroom and parking is tiny. It’s actually under an apartment complex so it feels like you’re young to the apartments when you park.

Was visiting SD for the weekend and found this place. It’s a small kind of hidden restaurant. Ordered the birria tacos. They were so good and the consume was also great. The meat was tender and flavorful. If I visit SD again, definitely going back. The only thing I wish they had were micheladas.

I’m really glad I discovered this place. It’s hard to find places like this—the food is good and reasonably priced. I hadn’t been able to find a place that served consommé or Birria, but here they have them, and they’re delicious and generously served. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a good consommé (Barbacoa) or Birria.

Got the Barbacoa rolled tacos and California Burrito. I’ve tried dozens of rolled tacos in my life and this was by far the most fresh and delicious I have ever had. You can tell it was hand rolled and not just thrown in the fryer like some of the other restaurants. At first, the dish looked little messy with sour cream, guac, etc but the taste work well together. I will definitely be coming back. Also, the owner is really nice and passionate!

Best Birria De Res Quesadilla and Birria machaca like grandmas home made cooking. Their salsa was fresh, tasty and oh so spicy, my hubby was obsessed with it. I enjoyed the red salsa, less spice and full of roasted flavors. Big filling portions and great customer service. We will be returning again & I look forward to trying more dishes in the near future.
