Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Mathew greeted us warmly and friendly. He was knowledgeable assisting us with the menu choices. The sweet, spicy burger and onion rings were ok. The food didnt offer anything different from its competition. The atmosphere was fair. The music was so loud we couldn’t talk over the music without yelling. And other customers in the restaurant had the same issue. Consistently yelling over the loud music. For a lot better burger for 3 dollars more go to Canyons in Canton. I prefer McDonald’s or Wendy’s for the same type of burger. Overall this place doesn’t live up to the hype not even close.

This was our first visit to this location as it was just recently opened. The food was excellent and my burger was huge! It took about 10 minutes to get our food and then we weren’t sure how the ketchup service works. We didn’t realize that you can only get some when they bring a tray by the table so I had to go wait in line again to get some. The fries were tasty and they had a good selection of fountain drinks.

We were impressed by our server. He went out of his way to ensure that we were happy and had coupons for our next visit. The burger was cooked well and seasoned great. I enjoyed eating the fries while chatting away to my partner. The fries were hot and crispy.

I don’t even know if they are open yet at this location, but they came to our church this past Sunday and provided us with 250 hamburgers and cheeseburgers for our entire congregation! We were truly blessed! Welcome to the neighborhood! AND… they were delicious! I was surprised at how big the burgers were! They are truly a Texas-sized meal.

Had a great experience in the drive thru tonight. Matthew took our order and he was fantastic! He had amazing customer services! Was very calm and relaxed. He didn’t rush us. He listened, repeated our order, ask questions to make sure he understood correctly and had such a fantastic attitude. And our order was made correctly. Thank you Matthew! Went to this Whataburger the other day. Thought it wasn’t open yet. But saw a bunch of cars in the parking lot. Went inside and saw a bunch of robots there. Cooking your food cleaning tables and taking your money at the register. Went alot smoothly then if there were real people working there. I guess this is the future of fast food restaurants. By the way this is just a joke to those people that don’t have a sense of humor. Can’t wait for this restaurant to open.

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Food was cooked exactly as I ordered as well! I didn’t think it was that good, unfortunately. Burger was just okay and fries weren’t crispy. Coke was second only to Mickey D but the the cup was like 85% ice so I am not sure if I actually got that much. I was in the area for a work thing, which is why I stopped in. Overall it’s definitely not bad and you may like it better than me. But I’m certainly not going out of my way to hit a WAB again. That said, INCREDIBLE STAFF. Restaurant was SUPER CLEAN as well. Whoever is managing or owns this place would be better served to get out of the franchise contract and go independent for better food but keep your incredible team.

It is very inconsistent with the food quality. I have yet to receive a hot order of fries. Warm is the best we have received so far.

The restaurant was very crowded and loud for the size of the building. While staff were friendly, we had issues with the order taking a long time and being innacurate once received.
The food was average greasy fast food (we tried burgers and chicken strips), the only really good thing was the honey mustard sauce. 2 out of 4 of us ended up with upset stomachs after eating there.
