Just found Bonita Bistro looking around on Google and Ooooh what a find. Made a reservation but found a couple barstools open and so lucky we did. Ryan the bartender & GM was a delight and shared background on Chef Patrick Hicks and the menu all while making many wonderful libations for everyone in the restaurant. We had read in previous reviews that they are known for their Smash-burgers so we grabbed hold with both hands. She had the regular burger while I opted for the Lamb smash burger. They didn’t disappoint, good size double patty with a great in-house sauces on both. But oh my the tallow fries were so delicious as the side car I could have eaten a whole plate of them. We saw so many other delicious looking things coming from the kitchen we can’t wait to come back. See you soon!!!

Truly a little hidden gem in Bonita Springs. Ryan the bartender was knowledgable and friendly. He gave great recommendations and mixes some great drinks. The grouper tostada starter special was fantastic and easily the best pork chop I’ve had in the states.

We recently visit and it was our first time and all i can say is FANTASTIC, Ryan and Kyle were amazing at the bar, delicious drinks and amazing customer service and attention to detail. The food from the chef was phenomenal, we asked for our burgers to be split so we can try them together and the chef went ahead and gave us a plate of fries with the half of the burgers!!!! Phenomenal. This is a Gem in Bonita Springs and as locals we are we will be coming back to try more drinks and food.

What a great hidden gem that is only blocks from our place. Everything about Bonito Bistro exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by staff that was able to seat us early for our reservation. Our server (Nessa?) was great and was very helpful in recommending favorite dishes. Wine was excellent and complimentary warm homemade cookies to finish our wonderful experience at one of our new favorite spots. We will definitely be back! Cheers to the entire staff at Bonito Bistro for creating such a warm, welcoming and excellent place to eat and drink!!

This place is awesome! My boyfriend and I tried the smash burger and tuna crudo. The beef tallow fries were great I couldn’t stop eating them! Everything was delicious and the warm chocolate chip cookies were perfect at the end. They have a full bar as well, the pear drop martini is pictured. We will be back and recommending this place to friends!

The lighting is wonderful. The menu is perfectly sized, and every dish is delicious. We get the carrots every time we go. Chef Patrick and Chef Daniel are outstanding cooks with excellent service. Ryan, the bartender, makes fantastic drinks and creative mocktails. I highly recommend this local, neighborhood gem!

This has become my go to spot for great food in Bonita and I couldn’t be happier to have this gem added to our sweet little town. The smashburger is my usual or the tuna crudo but tonight I decided to treat myself to the filet mignon. I am VERY hesitant to order steaks in restaurants, I often feel they are over priced and under delivered. However, this filet was cooked to perfection and the demi glace was the best I’ve had, 10/10 will order again and recommend to friends. The bartender Ryan is always attentive, professional and welcoming and the kitchen always delivers and exceeds my expectations.

Love this new addition to Bonita Springs right in my backyard. Went there two weeks in a row already, the atmosphere is really cozy and inviting and the staff is superb. Great for a date night. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a fantastic espresso martini made by Ryan. Food is excellent, prepared meticulously and were able to accommodate any substitutions i requested. 10/10 can’t wait for the menu to grow and keep trying new things!

Total BS this restaurant has a 4.9 should be a 10. Service was incredible from the minute we walked into Bonito Bistro. We celebrated our one year anniversary here and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Cocktails were something out of Coughlin’s Law. Pretty sure the bartender was Tom Cruise. I had the conquistador (several more after – tasted like a scene out of Willy Wonka and I had the golden ticket – trust me just order it) My wife had the pear flavored cocktail which tasted like one of those candies you get at a high end Asian fusion restaurant very top notch as well. Nessa came in clutch as our server with the tomato basil risotto recommendation which tasted like a light pizza pie with fresh burrata and pesto on top. Fresh homemade cookies and espresso for dessert really concluded the evening right. Thank you all for a great 1st anniversary! We will definitely be back.
